How to stay FAR

Im an archer, so i supose i should kill monsters from long distances, and i try to do it, by running away from them and shoot them, multiple times, but they eventually catch me, how can i shoot them far away? If im flying when im shooting them, they run and heal themselfs.
If i duel a player and he is faster than me, i will probably loose because my bow only delivers good damage at a certain distance.

    Most of the time archers are fine just standing there and using skills to avoid the monsters get close.
    I'm uncertain of your level/experience, but Frost Arrow and Knockback Arrow are the best skills to do this. Even if monsters reach melee range, you can use Wingspan (once you get it) or the different Lightning skills to finish them off.

    Keep in mind that some monsters may require kiting though (hit/slow and run), and that Knockback effects don't work in PvP.

    you will soon get knockback arrow and some melee skills to use, and they will make things much easier for you. until then, i would suggest kiting using the 'S' button
