Most Fail Wizard i have seen

while training i looked at a wizards info named Kesakor and he was wearing all heavy armor .i never seen a wizard use heavy armor before.b:chuckle

    Well i've seen lvl 20 wiz all decked out in heavy armor >.> he even had the pole from fb19 you get from elder and no im not mistaking it for a bm since he had the yingyang sign. It happens although it is rare its usually people just finding their way about and winging it who do that. We all start out as wandering nublets.

    I was thinking of getting a dex/str tome to wear level 20 HA(provides slightly higher defence than arcane at my level), but I've given up on that since only str/dex tomes are level 5 ones :(
    Currently flying internet spaceships around dodixie, moving to amarr soon.

    heavy wiz is not a problem... the problem is robe bm^^

    It could be an LA build using really low lvl heavy armor. Which is kind of not helpful at all.

    Nothing compared to what Ive seen in HT.

    I saw a Veno with Heavy Armor Lv 80+ with Lion King Axes...Yes thats right she/he was a 80+ veno with a Nix acting as a BMb:chuckle

    probably the guy was a LA and was doing some experiments with lower lvl HA... As you can see that looks like a shop armor...so...yeah, why not try? might work on melee mobs...might not. It's a free world

    yeah, sometimes people like to just mess around. I was thinking of strapping on some robes to see how I'd fare against some magic mobs. I know fully well that BM's should use heavy armour, but who cares? I die a lot anyway. Why not die while trying something stupid, just for fun?

    (maybe I'll stop trying to solo stuff way above my head....)

    ...and Clerics are Mushrooms.
    Paper beats Rock. Scissors beats Paper. Scissors also happens to beat Rock...until Rock gets 50k+ soulforce at which point Rock becomes an unstoppable killing machine that beats Paper... and would beat Scissors but it can't find Scissors, because Scissors are invisible.
    So Scissors beat Paper and avoids Rock, and that is called BALANCE. -cheze

    Yeah, he could be doing what I do. When I'm bored, I slap on some Level 11 or so Heavy Armor and just run around Ether, killing others that want to duel. Then, when I eventally lose, I "get angry" and "turn Super Sayian" (equip the awesome-sauce glowing armor), then they run away. ~.^

    I'm freeing up some character slots to try an experimental HA build, naturally to maintain attack/equiptment I'll keep the 3Mag per level, but wondering which would work better,

    3Str-1Dex Every two levels, or something a little more complex?

    The HA I want for this build will be naturally of a lower level(Making up the difference with Stone Barrier).

    No one seems to attempt lower level armour builds, like a high attack LA build.

    in theory if a wiz is able to wear heavy armor matching the level with TT weapon then we'll have the only "ranged tank" of PW. wearing refined -% channel ornaments with elemental defense, refined armoury for hp and perhaps a couple of wood/metal shards to deal better with venos, archers and clerics. defenses are very high. phys def matches barbs and blademasters easily through earth barrier and elemental defense can get very decent through shards and shields. then we'll have a kickass pvp build with amazing hp, defenses, aoe, seals, debuff and 1 last trick: elemental shell.

    HA makes elemental shell worth it lol

    I've made some experiments with HA at PW calculator. a lvl96 wiz can wear heavy armor matching lvl and still have stats for TT100 weapon.

    what is needed?
    all armoury with at least -15% requeriments and +5strength or dex each.
    rings with at least 6 magic each.
    elemental ornaments/cape/helmet with at least 10 strength or dex each.

    considering all items are 3-star (except magic weapon) with only 2 sockets (these sockets filled with flawless sapphires) and refined to +5, wheel of denied fate +7 (that weapon also adds 15 magic) with 2 flawless sapphires the wiz would have:

    WITH ABSOLUTELY NO BUFFS:
    HP 3489
    MP 7070
    phys def 5143 (57% reduction)
    elemental def 4478 (52% reduction)
    magic attack 5150-6528

    WITH NO BUFFS EXCEPT LVL10 EARTH BARRIER:

    i was using some type of blades from lvls 1-10 (i think they were called mother and daughter blades? )unno. but yea.. clueless.. b:surrender

    heavy wiz sux, wizards are ranged, most mobs range magic, so if ure using ur magic against a mob it hits with magic most of the time, FAIL

    I haven't heard of another melee axe HA Veno especially in HT.

    In case you haven't notice, you get magic defense from not only armor but from the stats of the equipment also.

    Lol I had the level 30 armor for people to think I'm a low level when I use normal attack and then I quickly put on my armor by the tabs and quickly mage them to own them.

    If you think heavy mages suck then you haven't seen Danika, he is actually the best mage on Lost City by far.

    Yes, Danika is in fact a hero, and he informed me that because I am in Conqueror I sadly don't qualify for the same esteemed title of Hero IRL-and-in-my-fantasy-life.

    All CQ are sellouts and have no honour, Danika's the best!

    I have seen several Heavy Build Veno. The veno is the tank (like a Barb) and the pet just does supplimental damage. They actually have incredible defense

    Go to the veno forums. Look at the thread for HA venos. Do what it says in there, basically need lots of +str +dex +mag items. Able to equip current weapon and heavy armor for level. That's how a heavy wiz should build.
