TT Solo/Squad with a Magmite

I'm currently lvl 80 with a Magmite that has the Strong skill (Herc's pdef buff). So far I'm able to solo TT1-1/1-2/1-3/2-1/2-2 solo modes although 2-2 is a bit tough as Feng and Wurlord both have strong magic attacks that hit my magmite up to 1.8k. I have yet to try soloing any TTs in squad mode but am planning to try once I hit lvl 81. I've been told that TT1-1 will be no problem but what about TT1-2/1-3/2-1 squad mode? I know Lord of Percussion, Soulbanisher and Wurlord are out of the question, but what about the other bosses like Vipenalt, Dimentora, Cosmoforce or Soulripper? Any magmite venos able to share experiences? Keep in mind that I have a magmite and not a herc so, while I will be having -15% channeling, my magmite only has ~2.7k HP and no mdef buff so my main concern is it being 1-2 hit while I'm in the middle of healing.

I use Herc but i'll share my experiences.

1-1 shouldn't be a problem at all really, however only Chintien's Edge drops in 1-1 squad are even worth it(that you can solo). Viper and Soulbanisher only drop Mirages and Crusade orders I think, so it might be more profitable to do 1-1 in solo mode as you can still farm broken drums.

For 1-2 it might be possible to kill Dementora as his AoE is physical I believe, but it can hit a my 77 herc for 1k still, and generally hits for 500-900 damage on melee hits, so I usually end up spamming heal and nothing else. Just make sure you pull him into a corner to avoid his slaves. Pull with another pet as magmite runs like a snail and will probably die otw back, and make sure Bramble Hood is up on you as the AoE can 1 shot me(Arcane). If you stand at max range his AoE shouldn't be a problem and you shouldn't have -channelling on you.

If you can kill Dementora with a buffed Magmite, Viper shouldn't be a problem, just don't move lol and obviously without a cleric the other bosses are impossible.

1-3 i'm not sure as I haven't really tried it, I managed to tank 1-3 version of Dementora(forgot the name) for a squad but died in the last ~5% HP or so because my comp froze b:angry although it wasn't much harder than 1-2.

2-1 I wouldn't recommend trying with a magmite, simply because of the low HP. Currently Cosmoforce can hit up to 1.7k on Herc on a normal melee hit... At the moment my Herc has 3350 HP which can be effectively 3 shotted by Cosmo. I bring another Veno (72) to help me keep up with the healing (both pure mag veno btw). It takes a while but we manage to kill it.

I don't attempt the other bosses though, just do Fataliqua and Cosmo then leave.

As a side note my friend had died to 1-2 squad Chintien with a 72 Crystalline Magmite without any buffs and said it hit for 1.6k, with Strong, (assuming it's Lv5) it shouldn't be a problem imo.

    Hope the info helps.
Good luck and let me know how it goes b:pleased

Tried HH2-1. Chientien was no prob, just took half an hour. Lord of Percussion 1-hit my magmite with his magic attack (2.8k). Soul Banisher I didn't attempt due to AoE. Vipenalt surprisingly 2 or 3-hit my magmite (forgot the damage) but I'll try again later. Dimentora, however, I was able to survive. Died many times learning how to lure him and many times due to lag, but finally, after a full straight hour of non-stop healing, managed to beat Dimentora. The drops, however... b:cry

Might have just been my bad luck or maybe drops decrease over time. I'll try it and Vipenalt again later. Have yet to try HH2-1 though, but I know HH2-2 will most likely be out of my magmite's capabilities.

That's 1-2, btw b:shutup If you can just get Protect, vipenalt & LoP are pretty easy.

Tip for Vipenalt: Time your heals.

    Whoops, I meant 1-2 ><

As for the Protect skill (I assume you're referring to the mdef buff), I happened to get Strong by chance in a Dragon Temple event. Didn't even know its potential until one day someone asked about my magmite buffing up. I hope I could get a Protect scroll, but the chances of 1) it currently existing on the Harshland server still in scroll form, and 2) me getting my hands on it, are very slim b:surrender

On a side note, my second successful run was a lot better b:victory

Desiree, is there any tip of getting past the mobs in TT1-X?

Also, what sort of veno build are you?

I'm an vit-arcane build but with lots of pdef shards. 3.8k HP unbuffed (3.3k HP before I restated - I have less in the SSs since I switch to MP regen and -chanelling equipments) with 2.6k unbuffed pdef in human form and 5.2k pdef in fox form. In every TT, I run it through. To survive, I: 1) get a barb HP buff before entering and cleric buffs if possible, 2) full chi for bramble hood, 3) fox form with summer sprint, 4) use a speed apoc pot, and 5) use lots of HP pots or event pots depending on the TT/section I'm running through. Sometimes instead of HP pots I use the genie Tree of Protection skill (I have over 20 lvl 15 genies with lvl 1 Tree of Protection at my disposal). After lots of practice and with such high HP, its not too hard ^_^
