demon or sage version o skills? how do i pick which?

ok, this might seem like a stupid question, but how do i pick demon/sage version of skills?? I remember reading something about it in here >

    you dont just pick the skills , you get to learn spark thats it now time for books to learn other skills
    3 skills are relatively easily obtainable from fb89 take aim frost arrow blaze arrow
    the rest (of lvl 89 skills that is) is basically farming fb99 which you can only start to do when you are demon or sage for a meager meager shot to get a book off the last boss
