In solo mode, how the $%^& is a veno supposed to kill flying mobs when u cant summon flying pets...

    probably this is one of the really rare things venos can't solo - get a cleric and tank yourself the flying mobs - works perfectly
    there are only about 3 flying mobs close to the end of the instance that your herc can't reach - most of them he can, so you still can solo most of it - then leave instance and repeat... like we all do until we get all the curvades

    I was thinking about this problem the other day. What about pets with ranged attacks? Like the Eldergoth Marksman. Can they hit those Wus that Bash can't reach?

    Herc or a golem do reach the first ones... with bash ( and come other skills) only

    it takes time but can be done

    for the last 3 .. resist / absorb pots, speed, and go to the next room
    I look at all the trollers, and Pvpers.. and know they wouldnt have lasted 30sec on Camelot.

    Rules= Know your enemy (players and NPCs) gives you more chances to survive.

    Can't you shoot them so they come down to you? Then you could use hercules, correct? b:victory

    They don't come down to you b:cry
    but as Reivi said, herc and golem can both reach them with bash.

    The devs need to look the definition of SOLO up

    that made no sense...
    Too often we loose sight of life's simple pleasures. Remember, when someone annoys you, it takes 42 muscles in your face to frown, BUT, it only takes 4 muscles to extend your arm and slap that mother#$@%#^! upside the head.

    The problem is that it is only the normal, non-skill, attack which is ranged. No pet skills means that even your healing can pull agro off your pet. And... not a herc, so may not survive too well.

    As said, use apot pots/genie skills/whatever to tank those hits and run past em when you cant hit em.
    Could waste some charm and pots/stuff, but you could make it. Or get a barb to take the hits while you run under them. First one's you can anyway kill with a bash/flesh ream from pet.

    Just attack them with herc. His bash will hit and draw plenty of agro for you to drop (some) nukes on it.
    Eldergoth marksman couldnt possibly tank its damage.

    I'm pretty sure a magmite could tank the damage too, obviously will require more healing than a Herc, but I think it's doable.

    ya golem can tank the damage for sure, When I did it I usually change to golem to kill those since golem hits more than herc in this case.

    a veno can kill them with a cleric healing if you do not have a archer, I have been killing them all the time.

    foxx- an eldergoth can indeed tank the damage, as mine could when it was just in the low/mid 80 lvl range. the problem is that it won't attack the wu's in the very last hallway. it will attack the wu's in the first hallway for some reason, even tho the distance looks the same to me. in the last hallway the monkey will just sit there and eat arrows from the wu and do nothing.

    some of the gold 95 equips are worth it if you got the time patience and amigos to do it oh yah and moneyyyyyy
