Hi.... well I have a question about this skill.

I am a HA Werefox veno, and I use the fox form a lot, but I actually haven't used malefic crush too often:

A malefic strike to enemies within 8 meters around you. Inflicts base physical damage plus 2990.0, and burns 880 Mana over 9 seconds.

I was wondering. I used it on my friend lvl 61, and I am level 60, he is a cleric, and it only did maybe 600 damage >.<
He didn't cast plume shell, or anything of the sort but did have barb HP buff and cleric pdef buff, in total he had about 1.5-1.7k pdef, but still, is that what malefic crush is supposed to hit?

PS: I have about 1.5k p.attack in fox form.

If I PK a lot (PVP server) should I continue to level this skill?

    Not really worth it IMO.

    I use it on my friends to surprise them because they've never seen it before usually.

    Don't level it past level 1 unless you just like spending money.

    I just got the level 99 demon skill book for it, and as HA my patk is 3k top end unbuffed... might be fun to try out when I hit 99.

    lvl 11 Demon:
    A malefic strike to enemies within 8 meters around you. Inflicts base physical damage plus 7556.0, and burns 2400 Mana over 9 seconds.

    8 meter aoe hitting ~10k dmg(unreduced) 1shot some low robies. *drools*

    Though it is kinda disapointing, considering parasitic nova does more dmg(base +6606 + 300%weapon = ~14kunreduced on my build) and has a wider aoe(12m).. only thing melafalic has going for itself is that it's physical. D:

    Still could be amusing.

    I love Malefic Crush. I use it in every FB19 run. Gather up a ton of mobs, use Tree, CRUSH! Piles of coins, and the few mobs that had Increased life/Defense, IF they're lucky enough to survive.

    I grind in Fox Form a lot, and sometimes I get attacked as well. Since I normally don't even bother using skills, I'm pretty much always at full HP/MP/Chi. Get attacked by a group? No biggie. Drag them along to get them beside each other, Mist, Crush, Leech, Mist, Fox Wallop. Follow up with a combination of Mists/ Fox Wallops and Leeches until the mobs are dead. Usually, it takes maybe two. Crush does hit hard. :D


    Now... As for PvP. We have a genie skill that eats MP. Which is cheap, and stackable. What do you think will happen to a Barb who gets hit with Crush and that? He's not going to have any MP, even if he does have a charm. The ticks will be WAYYYYYY too fast for him to have anything. MPless barb, or hell, even BM? Helpless. Consume him with your pet and skills of your choice.

    PvP damage is reduced compared to damage against mobs. I believe it's 25%, so if you did 600 against your cleric friend, you should expect around 2400 against mobs.

    i guess so, but is there a way to 1 hit a robe equal level as a veno?
    being a HA, a robe cleric can easily 1hit me =(

    Nope, this is why veno has most of their skills with debuffs. Can't 1 hit anyone, but can debuff them to where they can't do much to fight back.

    The only debuffs (useful) that the veno has is really amplify damage, and purge, but yes, i guess I can do this, amp damage > adv spark > leech life > dead.

    I found that leech life does more damage than malefic crush, but I guess its okay,

    Leech life is probably one of the most useful spells a Veno can have. I couldn't play without Leech and Mist. I really don't like sparking during a fight, because the instant someone sees it, it's their invitation to kite me until it wears off... And that's just annoying...
