As we all know the majority of players in this industry are played by males, and we also know that the majority of men are color deficient to some extent some much more severe than others. I recently have been trying to find fashion for my girlfriend and also some nice male fashion for myself and have realized I have to ask others for assistance all because in the great wisdom of the development of this most wonderfully addictive game colors are indicated by the color bar which to my dismay I can't distinguish for nothing. My suggestion is this is there a way to not only have the color bar but the name of the color as well for the color deficient populace to be able to buy the colors they are seeking. This would also work for anytime a color is indicated, not to leave the ladies out as I realize that some of you are also color deficient just not to the numbers of the male populace. There are tests now to indicate the severity of the color deficiency as it is now recognized as a disability in many career fields. So please if anything can be done about this look into it for all of us color deficient players as knowing the true colors of things would somewhat brighten our view of the game

All pigments are named and you can always buy those to dye clothing. The problem with the color bar is that clothes can often have a random color (such as when you first buy them). This is basically a random RGB value that may not have an obvious name. One thing they could do is show the RGB value when you hover over...[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

By the way, why is it three boxes? Why not just one?[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

are we talking about folks who are colour blind? ...is this the new name for it? if so i know i could use help with that! i have trouble with reds and blues, and it wasnt until one of my kids told me that i was wearing a violet dress, and blue gloves that i was aware of the mixup. please, why not just lable the colours, not just have the little colour cubes? it would be SO helpful to prevent embarrasing problems....AngelFire - Heavens Tear wrote: »This post is to all the developers and or GMs here in Perfect World International

Yes FoxRunning I am referring to those that are color blind, and it was brought to my attention that today unless you see in black and white like dogs and cats
then you are color deficient I have troubles with red and green and the multitude of shades of those two to a high severity. So like Dreadmaul suggests they should just label with the color name for those of us who are color deficient.0
