killing a barb

imma lvl 70 archer, pure dex and i use a +5 legendary 69 sling maxed stats w/ 2 flawless and i have no problem at all killing ppl but barbs (and some times veno w/ nix) are the class that i just really cant handle... i can kill 6x barbs (sometimes) but most barbs 7x destroy me. idk if its my weapon or my build but i need to know wtf is up with this because i cant be a good pker until i can be able to kill all classes. some say i need a bow or cross bow to handle them but i think my sling shot is just as good as those 7x weapons. so can some one give me a clue? b:cry

    I have trouble with barbs my level even if they dont have a charm.. if they do, then i just dont bother..

    every1 say that, 75% fail, 20% barb no charm, 5% barb noob don't use genie.

    as a 7x archer you will have somewhere between 0 to 0.00000% chance to kill a charmed 7x barb.
    being as pro is iam going to be in the 7ties 25%.






    anyway i have no idea what iam talking about

    no you cant really.
    First metal skill cooldowns are not fast enough before charm ticks.
    There is 3 ways however.
    1, Gang it's ****
    2, double spark n hope not stuned
    3, Get a +10 weap or 20 levs on the guy :P

    being 20 lvls above wont help because you cant de-lvl your opponent...

    so conclusion is...1.we need more fast chaneling metal attacks...
    2. we need range
    3. kite and stun
    4.have pots/charms and good gear
    5.be close to sz
    6. and dont NEEVER ever NEEEEEVEEEER EVEEEER try to tank a barbb:chuckle

    2. yes but barb running at you in tiger form = b:cryarcher
    3. cooling metal attacks down. wich btw dont work because the damn long cooldown

    5.a smart archer=3 shot the barb or at the other end of PW.
    6. some archer think that their evasion+bad barb accuracy might even the difference between hp and defense. but stupid patch have given them skills that wont miss anymoreb:cryb:cry

    Number one reason archers die.

    They are stupid and try and stand and fight.

    You never see an archer in a movie going "OMFG HEY! He r has axe! I'll stand 2 feet away and shoot him!" Yeah no that wont work so attack, stun and GTFO so he can't hit you then repeat :D

    It's called stratagy. I'd gladly stand still if I had 4,000+ HP.

    not to sound co.cky or anything but the other day i killed a lvl 72 barb(un-charmed) with no problem. I just hit him with a lvl 6 sharpened tooth arrow. double sparked succesful stun arrow and then thunder shock(lvl 9) lightning strike(lvl 10) and then thunderous blast( only lvl 4 QQ) and boom dead barb. while I was doing this the barb got 1 swing at me and missed, and im pretty sure i hit at least 1 crit with 1 of my metal attacks so maybe i got lucky, but It wasnt some long epic battle with lots of kiting.

    you don't call it "lucky" when an archer crits unless you got like 16 dex

    There is no shoot and kite. The heavy is not a mob. anytime you kite, his charm is on the cool down. If you are really commited to kill heavies, stand and shoot. By the time your metal is on cool down, the heavy should be within melee range (aka use wing atks).

    There is no way for an archer to kill a charmed barb. If you kite between your attacks you are losing alot of time and his charm will recharge before you get his hp below 50% and if you don't and just spam your attacks the barb will kill you faster as a bm since the genie-patch...

    all kite does is waste the valuable 10 secs you have.

    Besides why should barb be able to be soloed by archers.
    What is the point of a tank class? to be soloed easily? Of course not. They are designed to be ganged by a group of people thats why they are called tanks....................................
