Odd text characters

Hi, so I've seen cat shops have little hearts and other such shaped characters in their titles and I was wondering if anyone knew how to do that, and if it only works on cat shop titles.

    there called alt code's and as far as i know they can be used just about anywere where you can type

    also make sure you use the number pad to the right side of the key board

    Edit: Okay, I've tested it, and it may be that the numb lock feature on my laptop's keyboard doesn't work that way in game. But I tried pressing Alt + 3 to get the ♥ symbol, but it didn't work for some reason. All it gives me is the question mark symbol.

    not "all" alt codes work.
    I was early taught to work as well as play,
