FB51 : All quest mobs in 1 run... how hard is it?

Ok, we do this on LC, but I'm having trouble finding people on HL who know how to do this, is it really that difficult to get all the quest mobs in one run?

I would run my own FB, but I hate FB51, so I don't pay much attention while doing it so I don't know it all that well. lol

Yes, 4 quests, 2 tabs, leave and come back, but need the 1/2/3 and 8/8/8. Tell me you can do it. :P

    Of course you can do it. Why wouldn't you be able to? O_o

    You'll just have the 8/8/8 quest in your inventory for... 2 levels I believe before being able to actually complete it.

    Here is one simple way that has always worked for me.

    In going from second boss to third, just turn left instead of right at the first T. If you have not gotten all the 8/8/8 mobs by the time you hit next T, turn left again. When you have your 8/8/8 or have gotten to a dead-end room, work back and go on to final boss. If you hit the dead end without finishing, you still pick up a few more of the needed mobs en route to final boss.

    You can so do it. Just make sure you get a good squad who knows what they are doing. But it is definitely doable every time!

    Oddly, almost EVERYONE on Harshlands said it couldn't be done...

    ... so I did my FB and didn't get them all done. Bleh.

    Hmmm odd...I think then that they are not doing it right. You CAN get them every time. You just have to take a few detours that add MAYBE 5-8 minutes to the FB. But nothing all that bad.

    lol yeah, I know, but they said "oh I don't want to waste another 40 minutes or so" and "you can't do it in one run" or whatever and I told them that it wasn't all that difficult, but they wouldn't believe me... even though I do fb59's on LC all the time. Ugh..

    I understand it's a new server, but that was ridiculous. However, I did manage to BUY a spot on a second FB and ended up finding a pro barb that I'll have do my fb59. I know I shouldn't have to pay, but I wanted it done and over with, and ended up with a pro contact and more rep +xp. So, mostly just big gain that I'll make up in an hr grinding. :)

    Oh, if I had wanted to join a faction, I probably could have gotten it done easier, but it's kinda nice being factionless for some reason.

    It is a 50% (or was it 80%. cant remember) drop rate for quest items, so theoretically, it is possible for you to kill all the mobs and still not finish the quest, highly unlikely that you will run out of mobs, there are 16 magus. Most squads just rush you through it skipping needed magus. Note: some mobs respawn (warriors i think) so you can get those also.

    So yea, it is possible to "miss" a mob or two even after killing ALL the mobs, but highly unlikely.
