Buy the crappiest armor you can...
Buy the crappiest gem you can...
Go to the nearest tailor you can...
Select imbue soulstone, drag your crappy armor and your crappy gem.
Pay 100 coins*
Done.
*100 coins is only guaranteed for crappy soulstones (gems... w/e) like rough stones you find at any random merchant.
P.S. Oh yea btw.. Blacksmith for weapons. Tailor for everything else.Position: Professional Forum Troll
Position Details: Be able to incite people to flames and perform miracles such as telling people what's right and what's wrong. Be able to dish out flames to other people so fire extinguishers are needed to put out the flames. Most of all, giving others a piece of reality.

I know how to imbue my weapons, but the only way to do it is if they have sockets. I know some of them when made have sockets and I know how to add sockets to the item. But, is buying them the only way to get sockets?
And...
How is the Dragons Orb applied, can it be done?
I haven't found a good guild for manufacturing or imbuing as yet, but these are just a few questions I have.

Equipment with sockets can be made through crafting, dropped by mobs, given as a quest rewards, or bought from other players.
To add sockets to equipment, you must purchase socket stones from either the Boutique (15 for 1 gold) or from other players. You must buy them through these methods, as there is no other way to get them.
Dragon Orbs are applied when refining equipment. To refine equipment, speak to the nearest elder or cheif - usually there is one in every city/town/village. You must have the appropriate number of mirage stones per refining level. Insert equipment, then insert the dragon orb. Mirage stones will remain in your inventory.
A 1 star dragon orb guarentees a +1 piece of equipment. Should you want to guarentee your refinement higher - for example, lets say you want a +5 weapon - you will need a 1 star, a 2 star, a 3 star, a 4 star, and a 5 star dragon orb to guarentee refinement to +5. Dragon orbs can also be manufactured at the Jewelcraftsman.
I hope that helps explain it"In the end, its not about LA vs robe - which is better? Its about knowing your character and how to play it." ~Blosque, Sanctuary

Thank you for the information on imbuing weapons. Yes, you've answered my questions. But to confirm what your saying about sockets on weapons when I manufacture... a socket would be placed on a weapon/armor at rendom when made. Is this correct?
Is there a good detailed guide to manufacturing and imbuing weapons and armor?
Again... thank you for your help!
