Killing reds...

Does killing a red make you go pink or red or whatever in turn? Or can you, as a white, kill pinks and reds without gaining "bad karma" or whatever (that is, still staying white)?

    Er. What if as a white I openly assaulted and killed a red? Would I still stay white?

    Um, I've attacked red names before as white and I always go pink right afterwards-however, it doesn't last very long at all (less than a couple mins)-so the penalty is much less severe than attacking white named characters.

    OK heres the answer. You attack a red, you go light light pink, which means u can lose at most 1 item from your inventory (like a 25% chance) and nothing from your equipment. When you kill said redname, your name will go back to white in the same amount of time as if u ran up and punched a guard and walked away.

    This is the same with other light light pink names and light pink and pink names.

    10% chance if you are pink.
    And even if you are white, there is 1% chance to drop 1 item from inventory.

    If you are Blue or White and a monster kill you, you have 1% chance of droping an item from your inventory... and that happened to me :(

    You can gank anyone with infamous status "Pink/Red" no matter if they fight back or not and your name will just go Active pink which wears off in a few minutes.

    So being pink (the color just when you attack someone), you cannot drop an equip?

    You can drop from inventory ANY time, like said before - theres a 1% chance. You wont drop EQ if you turn pink, but if you get ANY shade of red - you better have dolls or you can drop your EQ or inventory.

    white KILLS pink=white

    I want to know if CashShop items (aka Clothing) will drop while pink; as in the pink you turn when defending yourself/I punched a guard pink; or if those have to be bound because you can drop them no matter the shade of pink. Because the official guide is not specific enough and I don't want to lose my money's worth of CS clothing because I assumed they meant clothing when they said accessories and they didn't..... >_>;

    attacking any player will result in a 1 minute countdown where your name is light purple, during this time you CAN drop items. you have either a 10% or 30% chance of dropping (1) stack of items up to 20 in that stack

    killing a player with a colored name will NOT make your countdown last any longer than 1 minute

    if you attack but do not kill a white named player, your cooldown will will last 1 minute

    and as to your question about dropping clothing items, any item that can be bound can be dropped. so the answer is: yes you can drop clothing articles, but i believe the chances are lower than those of inventory items/equipment.

    Im somewhat colorblind T~T I can never tell what color im attacking (light pink, pink, red, bloodred etc.. I get the 30- color mixed with the (in fighting mode color) all the time.

    * so if u ever see me trying to attack a lowbie under 30.. thats why*

    Pink Names: Player has definitely killed other players. In this mode you can lose items from your inventory and your equipment slots if you are killed while infamous, so be careful!

Isnt there color before this then? since you turn a certain color if you attack any player but its not the same color if you were white and *killed* a white name. thats the pink that they describe in that link, but what about the (pre-pink) if you are just fighting and havent killed him yet.
