Why so many ppl say herc is so much better than golem?Herc has like 100 phy defence more than golem and not much more hp.Also magmite has way more damage than herc so why waist 200% when u can get free pet thats almost the same as herc?

    lol omg, this is like the stupidiest thing ive ever red..

    to begin with the herc has a magic and phy defense buff that gives it another 150% extra defense, and also its own bramble guard that reflects a ton of damage to bosses such as HH.

    as it progresses in lvls it gets more defense then the golem does anyway.

    atleast try researching on these things before making very noobish posts.

    The herc's only slightly lower damage is also compensated for in its higher attack rate. Your golem might be doing slightly more damage per hit, but the herc is doing only slightly less damage at an appreciably faster rate.

    And then there's the tiny matter of buffs and mag def.... b:shutup

    If you're a skilled player use magmite, if you lack the ability to use skill then buy a herc and cruise throught this game.

    Why should I not opt for the best equipment I can purchase with my coin? By your logic, anyone who refines their TT90 is a failure, too.

    OP herc has 22k pdef and 17k mdef at 90 with his skills
    dont compare base stats ****.

    But with its slightly lower pdef and much lower mdef to start, you're taking not-as-good and making it better, as opposed to taking good and making it better.

    Herc is better than golem, golem is a fine sub, especially with herc skills. I'd really like a veno who actually has managed to find Reflect, Protect, and Strong, and tell us about her experiences in soloing, etc.

    But since I doubt you have one, and I know I don't, I won't speculate on what I don't know about. b:shutup

    yes because its SERIOUSLY practical to find one and give it to one. dumbass.
    you cant state it as a defense, just because its plausible, does not mean its realistically doable. and even then herc is still better in all areas but attack. its asinine.

    1. someone has to find them with incredibly crappy rates in DT.
    2. you have to have a spare 9m minimum laying around (lowest ive seen one in AH was 3m, but it was a phoenix skill)
    3. get the golem 80+ (to get the level 5 versions)
    4. pay another 2.4m to level + whatever it costs to forget the golems other skills

    and even then its still crappy!

    ehm ? i got herc at lvl82 and havent used golem after that..maybe golem can get same skills but those gona cost almost same money than herc cost but like some1 said before golem still sux :)

    herc is awesome, i got mine at lvl 65, i used magmite before and i can tell u herc >> magmite the only problem u need ~30mil gold XD but its worth the coins thats for sure

    The man is making the highly uninformed assumption that owning a hercules pet automatically makes the veno behind the pet a failure.

    Since the magmite is tamed at L17, around L19, I think the idea is using L19 gear for the rest of your PW life. That's not quite correct as a pet levels with you, but to me buying a herc is refining your gear. I want the best gear possible, and a herc is part of that equation.

    exactly, herc doesnt effect your skill wutsoever, nor does its looks have to do with anything, and to claim it does is ****, because its stoneheaded golem supporters just jealous they cant afford one and make it up just to try and cover their non existant argument about how worthless golems are compare to herc

    just like how worthless atheism is!

    Alphae, your arguement still doesn't work.

    A better analogy would be the herc is like buying legendary gear for your level whereas the magmite is like buying npc gear.

    The magmite isn't like using lvl18 gear for the rest of your levels as the magmite levels with the veno(Gotta catch em all Pokemon!). This is also the reason that the Phoenix can be beat by other classes refining their gear arguement fails. Pets are constant whereas gear is temporary.

    I said the argument wasn't quite right, the argument about the bow wasn't mine to begin with. b:chuckle

    Herc yes is equivalent of legendary gear, refining 3*, good blue gear with good adds, etc.

    I also didn't say anything about the nix, I simply said that if you think that just possessing a herc makes a veno a failure, I certainly hope you're not running around with sharded, refined gear, because in your logic, paying lots of coin for the best gear you can get makes you a failure too.

    but there is no arguement whatsoever. theres just no comparison to a golem and a herc.

    herc transcends it by a marginal difference,

    golems users just have to suck it up, compared to fat man, theyre obsolete

    lol herc has nothing to do with my success, cheese head, i got herc at 67 and didnt catch him up in levels til i was 75, because the cube was broken, and by then one can use RB gamma to level

    My point was that you can give a golem the same skills if you wanted. At no point did I say it was going to be cheap or easy. There was no need to call me a dumbass for stating the obvious.
