Anybody playing from Australia? laggy? IP block?

my gf and I are thinking of moving here from perfectworld malaysia - but wondering if the lag is bad. We are from australia. Do they have our IP block too? would like to know b4 i download this version.

    The following countries are blocked as of this time :
    China
    Hong Kong
    Japan
    Macau
    Malaysia
    North Korea
    Philippines
    South Korea
    Taiwan
    Turkey
    Vietnam

    We currently have no plans to block new European addresses, but I do not know what the status is regarding Australian addresses.

    Latency will be highly dependent on your connection. Typically the backbone between the United States and Melbourne is in the 130-200 ms range, which is high than I'd prefer, but not so high as to be actively frustrating on its own. The real can of worms is the delay getting to that backbone. Doing a "tracert pwigc3.perfectworld.com" will give you a pretty good idea of what sort of latency you can expect.

    i am from australia, i have not yet experienced any lag since the game opened. there is no IP block either.

    Aussie here too and no IP block yet if they do we screwed cause no where else to play this ( i cant speak Malaysian)...not much lag some days its great some bad its just normal for me

    I'm from Aus and i've had absolutly no lag at all except in the busiest areas (player shops)
    But that's normal 0:
    Are you serious? D: There's a chance we may get our IPs blocked? o.O

    As far as I know, there are no plans to block the Austrialian IP address range. I really don't think there will be.

    That said, I don't know -- my sources of information aren't much better than anyone else on this board, and I haven't seen an official statement on the matter.

    im in victoria and my internet connection kinda slow.. would that be laggy?

    I'm from New Zealand, its gets a bit laggy sometimes
    the bandwidth of ur isp should not be an issue because the data flow is really quite small unless u use like the cheapest dial up plan xD
    but sometimes there are no data flow to the game for some reason
