Call of Duty Quests?

Just wondering. In playing the game I can't help but notice a lot of people offering to help with those quests without drops, often to the point of simply waiting around looking for people to help.

I'm a n00b, never did a call of duty. What's in it for these people? Should I want their help?

Well, Call to duty (fb) quests give free exp and reputation to the people in the squad who helped with the quest. There's also a chance of 3 star drops or molds but generally speaking the tab holder should get all of those items.

People offer to help you because call to duty quests take place in instances, that is, areas that have a new, clean "slate" open to the squad/individual who enters. The mobs in the instance are 2x or more stronger than "normal" mobs outside, and there are a ton of them. The instance is always ended by 1 (in lower level call to duty quests) to 5+ (upper level call to duty quests) difficult boss mobs.

That being said, you always get good rewards from your call to duty (you will very often see it being referred to as an "FB") in the form of experience, reputation, and good item drops (hopefully).
