Dots are useless how are bm's any different?

Ok, this is not what I think , I think dots are nice. But through reading all these guides these are some facts(or opinions) that I have found.
Wizard-Crown of flame level it and don't touch it ever again.
Barbarian-Garrote Useful in the early stages but keep this at level 1.
Venomancer-Blazing scarab useless
Cleric-Thunderball-ridiculous channeling time and dot useless

Some people say spear blademasters are awesome with piercing winds and draw blood stack bleed,but archers have 3 DoTs and yet other archers say archers who use dots=fail.How are Blademasters w/ their stacked bleed any different?

    also spears can stack bleeds

    for BM..DoTs are never useless..
    for archer its a fail cause that class suppose to take the least dmg and deliver the most, so i better replace it with other skill which blow large hp than a little chunk of hp.

    DoT's job here is add damage to the mob who's already under your attack and therefore kill it faster for instance if it's mixed mag/phys user then it helps to insure that mob will be down before it switch to second magic attack. I leveled our main bleed skill to LV10 then forgot all about it during LV55-LV70 but now took it out again and using it. It just seems to add the dot on the i :)

    PS: DoT's always work on bosses against who stun and every other status related effect seem to fail.

    Archer bleeds do not stack.

    If you aren't able to kill things as quickly as another class, then DOT skills help speed things up. I like the bleed with my BM, but with my Veno, the mob dies too fast for a bleed to be helpful. Same would be true for an Archer or Wizard.
