Yeah, it's me. Don't read to much into it, though; I'm only here for myself now, killin' time and chillin' when need-be. So sue me. Tch...

    gotta max em all
Sins are Scissors. Psychics are Rocks.
Archers, Venos, Barbs, Wizards, BMs, Mystics, Seekers are Paper.
    ...and Clerics are Mushrooms.
Paper beats Rock. Scissors beats Paper. Scissors also happens to beat Rock...until Rock gets 50k+ soulforce at which point Rock becomes an unstoppable killing machine that beats Paper... and would beat Scissors but it can't find Scissors, because Scissors are invisible.
So Scissors beat Paper and avoids Rock, and that is called BALANCE. -cheze

Yeah you probably won't need them so much in early levels, but they come in handy later on. I haven't been there, but I hear that high level mobs later in the game use magic attacks a lot more. I've already seen it starting.

Stone barrier, always up during pvp. Good also for melee mobs.
Glacial barrier, good for 8x when grind on fish, and other long grinds for mp regen.
Pyroshell, meh, hp regen is less important then mp regen when grinding, but its good for pre 7x for grinding on foxies.

I thought Pyroshell was pretty useless (and for the most part it is), but the foxwings use fire so it helped a lot then.

    Stone Barrier=*drools*
Glacial Embrace...let's just say that water mobs hate us. I love the ones that spit ice at you. Once maxed, it's like "BRING IT ON!! Is that supposed to hurt me?!!"

Of course I want to make you giggle, but this is serious. b:chuckle

I don't even use pyro shell on foxies, you kill them so fast they rarely will even hit you. I still use the water shielld, on all mobs for that matter, since i feel with the mp regen, even reduced in attack mode, prob gives me an extra few mobs before i have to sit and regen. Only time i will switch to earth is PvP or archer mobs. Pyro shell really is only useful for Fire bosses in fb39 through 59 if you are tanking and lvl 5 will be sufficient. Other two max asap

Stone Barrier is a must-have if you're going to be PvPing or TWing, of course. It's also handy for soloing stupid archer mobs if you don't want to kite them or use pots. Glacial Embrace starts seeing real usefulness at 70+ when grinding on water mobs starts to become highly beneficial to wizards (maids -> undines -> ultrafins). Might as well take less damage, 'cause you'll be on those a long time.

Pyro, personally, I still have at 5. The only time I really use it is when I'm tanking an FB59 and get to the fire boss, and it's only so the EP can save some MP and just purify regularly instead of having to heal as much.

Stone Barrier, keep this maxed and use it for levels 1-50(ish)/whenever you fight physical opponents.

Glacial, level it how you like but there are a lot of skills that should get priority over this. If you have some spirit to spare then try to max this post 60(The mp regen is useful for meditating).

Pyro, level this after the first two(tbh most wizards don't use many hp regen things apart from health pots).

SB maxed is a must, no question about it, especially below lvl 60. But still, if you're full int on a PvE , you can live without it maxed. Do your combos right use Phoenix to kick back melee and u should be fine. I use 98% of the time Glacial since it helps for mana regen. At lower lvls it very usefull. SB is usefull more on ranged mobs, you're gonna get hit there no matter what, so you might as well lower the ammount of dmg u receive.
Pyroshell Lvl-it recently and it makes a difference. I was questing today at some elite mobs, non elemental but they were shooting with fire, and with PS on the dmg decreased from 210-215/shot to 128-135 and with a cleric buff to 100-105. So you see, the cleric buff helped, but what the shield took was way, way more usefull. Beside u always have the shield with you.
In the 50s and 60s you can grind alot at water mobs, there the Glacial will be a must.
