chest surrounded by tullips?

I was wondering if anyone knows how to open the various chest surrounded by lvl 19 Tulips and what is in them? it says i don't have the right tool to open it.does anyone know what item i need or if i need to do a quest for it? i know of 2 locations of these but i assume there's a third one for sure.

    That's the one up in the snowy area near Timberfield, with the Bloodlusted Tulips, right?

    I've also seen a chest surrounded by some kind of Cactopods, and one surrounded by tombstone things... don't remember exactly where they were... i've done a lot of cross-country flying in my time.

    Also, some kind of herb or something that looks like a quest-harvest item (it's not selectable, and the name of it doesn't show from a distance - but i don't dare get too close), surrounded by 4 (Lv90 Elite) Kugulu Taskmasters. I've seen two of those - one near Tusk Town, and one at the bottom of Scorpion Valley.

    Both of these are used for the culti at 89. The crystal at tusk is for heaven and the one at scorpion is hell. As for the bloodlusted tulips ive seen those too and killed them but was unable to dig the chest. Im not sure what quest that is for.

    hate to necro this thread but im wildy curious about the chest surrounded by the bloodlusted tulips near timberfield as well.

    Since it is kind of an acceptable topic to continue discussing I'll endorse this act of necromancy.

    My guess was that it was part of an event in the original version that was never removed by the developers for PWI. Other option being, it's part of an unimplemented low level quest.
    Currently flying internet spaceships around dodixie, moving to amarr soon.

    Also curious myself, I've come across that chest a few times. I've noticed chests in the tomb of heros too that I "don't have the tool required to open"

    I'm relatively new to the game. After doing some research, I did not realize the multitude of things that have survived in game when the quest has been removed. It's mind bottling.

    I thought it was for a quest that was not available to my class of character, but since no one seems to know it, then I'm okay with that.

    Would a GM know?

    A GM might know if they have some good knowledge(Which they all seem to have, aside from the occasional slip up). A player from the original Chinese version is a good bet also, but harder to find.

    Keys used to drop from random mobs. No idea what happened to that. Each key went to a specific chest.

    I'd beg to differ. As there are low lvl chest, there are also high level chest, that contain much better prizes, such as the dragon chest.

    First time I saw these chests was right after the patch came out which included the perfect hammers... Maybe you need these to open them?

    nah those chests were there way before perfect hammers were and perfect hammers are only for ur supply stash at 50 and 80

    I would like to take this time to (possibly) shed some light on this topic... and apologies in advance for the triple-necro.

    I heard (from a friend who played PW-MY) that these chests require those keys, as someone already mentioned. Now, about the keys. From what my friend said, the keys drop from the fb19/29/39/etc bosses, and that the drop rate is so abysmally low, that only a few people across all the versions of this game have actually obtained a key.

    Likely they are eitherparts of quest removed form the Pay to play version of the game or parts that have not yet been implemented into our version and will become availaible at a later date. Remember folks, our version of PW is in its baby steps stages.

    theyre called lost chests. from what im aware they appear on all the old maps.

    They contain Warsoul Fragments. To open them you need to try opening each one in alphabetical order going by mob name.

    (But don't tell anyone 0.~)

    update, I just found the chest outside of wellspring village with the bloodlusted tulips around it and dug it, it contained a one star ring mail.
