the solution i did PM to Rakthor

Calamity just costs 50 misterious chips and 2.5 k at the miistrious merchant.

(you get 40 chips between lv 70 and 75 in the bless box, just colelct waht you need doing the cube)
I look at all the trollers, and Pvpers.. and know they wouldnt have lasted 30sec on Camelot.

Rules= Know your enemy (players and NPCs) gives you more chances to survive.

How does that solve the problem? He obviously wants to do MORE damage during his 70's then during his 60's, that can be one of the only reasons he wants to use the calamity axes. So his problem is: I want to do more damage but I don't have enough money. Solution: Give him tips to have more money so he can do more damage. Your solution doesn't make him do more damage. So it doesn't solve his problem.

It could if he refined the axes...... But he would need money to do that.. so back to initial question.... Grind for dq items, farm mats. Thats about it.... (If you are very lucky, than do FB runs for molds)

Cash shopping would be the fastest way, but not everyone has or wants to invest real money in to their character so this option might not be for you,

You could always play the market, Dolls are cheap right now due to the lower cash shop price, but once the sale ends it will take a matter of days and the price will be back up to what it use to be (Buy and Sell tactics), the only problem with this is it's a total gamble, you could lose your initial investment along the way and be stuck with items you cant move and have no use for. Don't invest money in to Clothing/Mounts/Aerogear most will leave you with less then you started with, the better markets are consumables as your cliental has to come back for more, which means Dolls, EXP scrolls and Charms are the best way to go or materials used in crafting but the prices are less stable with these, play it smart and you can make BIG money doing this,

Other then that did anyone mention grinding?

Your asking him to delay his experiences by farming instead of leveling up so he can farm more items...

I'm making him delay the Calamity Axes slightly in order he will be leveled up...I mean basically I'm telling him go level up to like level 75 then get the axe. Your telling him to delay leveling, farm mats like crazy, and get Axes at level 70.

You can DPS well with levels too right? If he's using TT 60, he is going to be saving money for a Calamity but not wasting time farming mats (think... genius!)... Right? My way is both better in terms of leveling and cash income because a level 75 would earn slightly better cash grinding than a level 70.

Sighs, one thing never to do in this game is just farm mats... Heck, did you think that if you grinded on mobs you get more cash? more exp? more spirit? and just more everything?

actually considering the repair costs a barb has to deal with during grinding, plus the fact that magic hurts them (and most mobs of that level are magic), farming mats may not be that bad of an option. the idea is to have a cycle going, where you complete a cycle just in time for the first mat of the cycle to respawn. this way you can make money very efficiently, at least 2 ult sub worth of mats if you find yourself a good route. barbs in my guild run mat cycles for money, and run fbs for exp/sp. for the most part, they dont grind anymore.

But if you grind, you can also farm mats too due to the fact that mat spawns are near most mobs. It will only be about 20% as effective as if you were only mat farming, but it is still pretty good. Plus, every 2 DQ Drop = 1 Mat. The time it takes for you to get 2 DQ drops is a lot less than the time it takes for you to do a mat run. Plus grinding also gives you coins if you pick them up. Usually 10 picks of a coin = 1 Mat.

Grinding also opens you up to doing Quests at the same time (Justice Quests for good exp, Crusader Orders, Regular quests, One-Man Army, and even Authentic Works) + Chance for good drops like good 1 starred equips with 2+ options and 2+ sockets.

Of course, not to mention the regular EXP and spirit you would get by killing a mob...

Actually, you did not tell him that. You just said use TT60 at level 70. You didn't say anything what to do at 75, or whenever. And using TT60 at level 70 didn't solve his problem. This whole story you're telling now might will, but you didn't say that, so that's why I reacted the way I did...
