Venomancer problem

I learned the skill of how to turn into a fox, and I unequipped my weapon, but when I click on the skill button it doesn't do anything.
The button is lit up too, so I don't see what the problem is =/

    It just turns you into foxform and you can use your weapon just your foxform attacks.I think you need chi so might want to build some up.

    What weapon are you using?

    To switch into foxform, you need to be either barehanded ((no weapon)), or be using a magic weapon.

    use a magic weapon,
    ie. wands, patakas, magic swords.

    Skill got bugged sometime during the newer patches. Now instead of being able to switch to fox if you're barehanded, you have to have a magic weapon equipped to do it.


    @Everyone else: OP stated they unequipped their weapon and since fox is supposed to work when barehanded or when using a magical instrument, the weapon she had before doesn't matter. Learn to read, folks. b:thanks

    Yeah sorry to say but you HAVE to equip something from the Magic Instruments category. Their Phys damage sucks which is very annoying but that is all you can use. Put Garnet shards in them when you can and use Patakas (Staves) if you want to be a Fox Veno because they have the most Phys Damage of any of the Magic Weapons. Thankfully your Melee Mastery skill (It is coming up later) is one of the most powerful Mastery skills in the game and will beef up that craptastic Phys Damage so that it is not so horrible. Also your skills will tack on a nice amount of extra damage to your hits. Just remember if going Fox ignore Magic Damage because it is useless to you outside of healing your pet and know that you will be in the face of your enemy not casting stuff from range.
