Bad Lag Issue even at Login Screen

I just DL'ed PW this weekend, game is very nicely programmed and storyboarded. I have a lvl 12 Character so far, but the Game Lag of 2 Seconds, has made the game Unplayable for me. My Ping is 93ms, I have all the Graphics settings to MIN, with all options off as well. I play Wow, EQ, LoTR, FlyFF, Shayla.. none of which I have any Lag Issues.. even at the Highest Graphic Settings. But after doing a "TraceRT" to your Servers from NJ (USA) I am getting Time out Errors between (dstswr1-vlan2.rh.grvony.cv.net) 67.83.254.33 & 64.15.0.249.. and then it continues after 2 time outs, to the last Serverer for a 93ms connection rate. At the Log-IN Screen I get the same 2SEC delay.. when trying to type in my Logon Name and PW... so this lag is NOT game related. What IF anything can be Done to Fix this Issue? I have also removed Windows Firewalls, as well. What are the PORTs the game uses? I use a Linksys Router, and have high speed Cable connection and Cable Vision for ISP. I really like the game and would love to play more. :confused: Thanks for taking to time to read my post.

    hmm might be youre pc itself
    i got games that really smooth and also got games where my pc surpasses the min req specs
    and runs really slow or wth messed uo grahpics

    hey there, ive got exactlly the same problem.

    first of all, ive been playin on my acer aspire 5100 laptop with win vista and 2gigs ram, and it was all fine, no lags and a real nice and playable game. then i wanted to install windows XP again cause i dont like vista and also i wanted to increase my graphics in PWI a bit.

    now, since my system is freshly setted up, i installed PWI, patched it and started. all of a sudden, even in the login screen, i experience some funny delay wich is like, i click something or press a keyboard button, and the response of the game client comes bout 1 second later

    it has nothing to do with my graphics or my connecton, since it was runnng all good before with vista. no issues at all.

    is there still nobody who can really tell how to fix it? i was searching the forum for hours but all the threads that discribe the same problem are unawnsered or just not successfull awnsered

    Please update your graphics drivers to their most recent version. Especially with ATi's laptop chipsets, drivers can be of major importance.

    Hey,

    Been playing for a couple of weeks now,& i'm lagging badly i don't know what to do as im still new, anyway i can stop it i have a toshiba Satellite pro XP & need help fast. I can't continue the way it is lagging, Thanks b:pleased

    Hello All,

    If you're experiencing some lag while in game, you can try contacting your ISP and see if they can prioritize port 29000 for you.

    Also, if this is supported by your network adapter, try disabling "Checksum Offloading". To do this, go into your Device Manager > expand 'Network Adapters' category > right click on your network card and select 'Properties' > then go to the 'Advanced tab.
