Adding gems to weapon

hello pwi! i just have a quick question, if i get weapons with sockets (for exapmle my lvl 50 supply stash weapon) should i put in sapphire or alabaster, ive seen like 1 cleric with a flawless alabaster in a TT weapon. and was wondering becuase alabaster add more metal damage then sapphire add mag attack, which should i be looking for, for future weapons? becuase i want to deal more dmg to my targets (i mean who doesnt?) becuase my health is crappy, and right now so is my mana.

    I just asked almost the same question, everyone told me to just add sapphire because it affects your healing skills too. I was told that adding a magic shard will increase the damage more so than adding a metal shard.

    This still needs adequate testing I think.

    However I would go Sapphire as a cleric simply because it also benefits heals where as alabaster would only help attacks, if it helps at all.

    My level 60 TT weapon I use a flawless sapphire and a perfect alabaster. For my level 70 I used 2 flawless sapphire to get the white swirly around my wrist. For my level 80 I'm going for the 2 immaculate sapphire. I've found that the straight sapphire is better.

    Elemental shard only affect mellee weap.
    only use saphyre on your weap

    omg there are so many topics about discussion of use STUPID elemental stones being caster and yet i ... WTF see a Lvl80!!!?!?!??!Cleric with elemental stones infused in his TT weapons ??!?!? b:shockedb:shocked
