Which items are best vendored and which are best sold in consignment shop?

That depends. DQ items sell pretty good to NPCs in stack but sell for a bit more if you vendor but you'll need more patience for that, since not many people buy them because there are too many catshops doing that.

I personally vendor charms, clothes, mostly CS items and some armor I craft/find that is starred/socketed. Also you can try selling the mid-high levels mats and herbs, though that will take time to farm and such.

Basically I NPC everything I find from shops unless it can sell for more than 20k to a player. But it's up to you what you want to do - try selling whatever you want and see how it goes.

    Liel pretty much covered it.

For DQ (Dragonquest) items, you should first use enough yourself to expand your Bank slots. You could also use them for the Dragon Quests themselves, but whether that's worth it or not is up for debate. A lot of people just sell them.

The DQ items are worth a nice amount of coin to the NPCs. The DQ21 items aren't bought to often from catshops, but you could attempt it with Disguise Skin - I've found that's the one I come across the least in my own drops.

For the second DQ level, the honey and claws are much sought after. Especially the claws. I haven't seen the mystical claw in a drop yet so I got mine from a catshop. You can expect to price those around 2.5 to 5k each. (ouchness when you need 10 of each for the banker!)

For weapons and equipment, if it has no stars and no extra stats, NPC. If it has 2 or more stars and/or extra stats that make sense for the classes who would be wearing it, try Catshop or Auction House. (Auction House when you reach a higher level, as equipment is expensive enough to make the fees make sense then.)

Also..npc any quest reward armor and weapons once u outgrow them or if they dont match your build. Pretty much everyone gets the rewards at some point and wont buy them from catshops.

    I am, indeed, female.

I've been able to Auctionhouse some Quest Rewards, and Catshop them too. Some classes can wear more than one of the items so grabbing the second one they couldn't chose is helpful, I suppose. They also tend to have lower Req and not everyone does the quests on time so they look nice.

I actually have a quest necklace I got for cheap - the quest to get it has come up finally in my list but I've been using it for 5 levels already. heh heh.

I see, very cool. Thank you for the information. In terms of gear quality does it go from best to worst, Yellow, blue, white?

Something like that... Blue Gear is 2*, which is better than white, which is 0/1 star. Purple gear is 3*, with better stats than blue 2*. i haven't gotten any yellow gear yet.

Yellow armor is molds, and yes, they are usually much better than any other with the exception of some TT armor. For example, I am using 70-80 mold equipment as opposed to the TT80 since I like the stats on the molds; however, I have plans to switch to TT80 armor once I hit 80 and carry that through to TT90. It all depends on what stats you need and how much you can afford, pretty much in my opinion.

DQ you should catshop or AH: Dull Claw, Element Fragment, Complete Sack, Disguise Skin and Element Essence. Those seem to be the easiest DQ to sell. The banker quest DQ items also can get double or triple npc value by the banker.
Also..npc any quest reward armor and weapons once u outgrow them or if they dont match your build. Pretty much everyone gets the rewards at some point and wont buy them from catshops.

Umm... NO. Decompose. You can get mirages from most quest gear.

You will only get mirages from 3*** star and gold items, all other quest items, including 2** will only yield chi stones when you decompose em.

Actually I've found it more profitable to decompose weapons and equipment and sell the chi stones you get to players!
