Either get rid of exp loss or implement more quests

I am finding the serious lack of quest from the 36-41 range a bit absurd. I have checked the find quest option and nothing shows up. I never have quest under the "My level" category so that option is rather redundant it seems. Also, when grinding and killing mobs it really sucks to have to grind only to die to a mob that spawns just close enough to u to rid you of the very last bit of hit points you have. There needs to be more quest in this game. I cannot speak for higher than the levels mentioned but for this level ranges its terrible.

The fact there were ample amount of quest to do from 1-35 tells me a few things. One, the designers got lazy and decided quest were to hard to implement into an MMO (hmm.. who woulda thought quest in an MMO would make sense?). Two, their focus went elsewhere instead of designing a constant quest system. Do not get me wrong, every MMO has grinding but doing so for 2 levels straight gets a bit old and makes the game lose its appeal. While there are many great things about this game, excessive grinding and lack of quests are certainly not among them.

LOL.....wait till you get in your 60's and beyond!!

At my level, I am grinding over 95% of my exp.

You should be fine up until that point.

Have you looked in the "Low Level" part of the Find Quest display?

I have checked lower level quest and I have followed the quest guides on the forums here to a "T" and the 1perfectworld site guides as well. I have done very quest I can do per those sites and guides. I feel sorry for you having to grind 95% of your experiences, that sucks.

I disagree with you here. What it tells me is that the developers didn't want to turn people off immediately with grind. They give you the first few dozen levels pretty quickly and hope that it hooks you into putting up with the increased grind as you level.

The XP loss is a pretty good deterrent to try and keep people from dying. It makes you play a little more carefully, or you could always protect yourself with charms and dolls b:chuckle Don't think for a second that this isn't intentional.

Honestly, the quests just give you a chunk of extra xp for grinding a certain mob. I'd take fewer but more interesting quests any day. I don't mind it taking longer and longer to level (because it should). I do object to pretending they are giving me a new quest when all they've done is "Kill X of Y" and just keep increasing X.

That wasn't exactly constructive posting there either, it was actually rather disgraceful and disturbing.

That aside, I would recommend using Crazy Stone daily quest too, in order to help along with the XP gaining process.

Dolls and charms are good if you can afford them. I agree there. I do not mind it taking longer to level as well but that is the point of increased exp needed per level. As the person stated earlier in this thread that is level 60+, grinding 95% of your level is a bit excessive in my opinion. As I stated I do not mind grinding a little bit but too much will deter people from the game which yes, is there choice. Didn't this use to be a Pay to play game?

No need to "feel sorry" for me. If I did not like the game I would not deal with it and quit.

I'm just saying that if at your level you can't handle or are sick of the "non-quests" then you will not last the higher levels.

    Simple as that.

I will say this; I admire those of you who are as high level as you are because to be honest, the grinding on this game is just not fun. IDK, maybe if they implemented more unique drops or a drops besides just white and blue text items from mobs killed, it would be better, IDK.

Meh, guidelines or not.. being a forum **** doesnt help what the original post was about. My response was in response to the person it was meant for because they are simply a troll and need to get a life besides making non-constructive post. Was my response non-constructive? Of course but only because their original reply was not called for and did not help at all.

A 'forum ****' I am certainly not - I am just trying to help, since you did not seem to have previously read what I quoted - I did also try to help with the original post, not detract from it :).

Should your post have been non-constructive? Should your post have been constructive? Should you have bitten to the 'troll' (as you say) at all? I don't know; a clever man once said that "an eye for an eye shall make us all blind".

I invite you to consider the two posts, TearValerin and yours, and very objectively think of who ended up sounding a lot worse, a lot more vulgar and unnecessary. Don't become offended with what I am saying, am just trying to help :).

so in order to point out a non-construtive post you use a non-constructive post, which may even be against the TOS? sigh......

Theres a very simple explanation why the quests start to linger higher up. They want you to start using the cash shop or stat having the growing urge to, they want to see increased scroll and charm sales. The boredom of grinding will get to you so you want to pk more, which = more guardian angel sales, more dragon orbs for refinement. It is a free to play game with underlying incentives to pay to play. Im not a frequent cash shop user so i will be in my 70's for a bit more while i grind myself to death lol

You can do rebirth if you know how to do it

    Justice quest start at lvl60

    World quest starts at lvl70

Cube of fate can give you exp if you're lucky

    You can help with fbs

Cs is a major source of exp

PW didn't completely make it mandatory to grind to level. More opportunities are opened to you once you hit 60. Who says you have to grind all the way?
