Weird werefox problem!

I'm a lvl.50+ human form physical attack veno and I went to use werefox form but it wouldn't let me change. Right now I'm using the general's dual hammers and I know I have to unequip them to change, but after I unequip them it still won't let me switch forms. This just started happening recently, I used to switch into fox form barehanded with no problems but now I can't even switch at all, please help!

    i noticed one day when i was runnin around in fox form i go to press the button to change into human form and could and would not change back like 20 secs later i changed must be lag new client is buggy

    Channel: Instant
    Cooldown: 6.0 seconds
    Weapon: Unarmed, Magic Instruments
    Requisite Cultivation: Spiritual Adept

    Transform into a werefox. Physical defense increases by 120%, accuracy increases by 200%, and maximum MP falls by 20%. Allows werefox skills to be used.on:

    Well I bought a basic magic weapon and I can switch again now. So its safe to assume that now you have to have a magic weapon and can't change while unarmed like before? I'm guessing its a new bug from the expansion update. Before the update I could switch unarmed.
