    I think the main problem with pedophilia is that the children can't -knowingly- consent. They simply lack the experience and knowledge to make an informed, willful decision to enter a sexual relationship.

    Additionally, children under the numerous ages of consent -can- have their avatars marry in PW. However, no one - heterosexual, of age, or otherwise - can engage in coitus in PW. Essentially: relationships of -all- kinds in PW are purely aesthetic, and we expect players to be able to discern the difference between PW and the real world (e.g., don't try to autotrack in the supermarket, don't ride flaming tigers, don't select "Cleric" as your major, etc).

    So what is the real risk/harm?

    YES!! This is the point! It isn't that they should be told what is right or wrong, they should be allowed to decide for themselves! The highlighted text completely negates your entire arguement that it should neot be available. By limiting the choices you are effecting the choices and subconsciously reinforcing one value over another. How can one turly choose in a world where there is no choice?

    This thread cements my opinion that many of the more vocal people who play this game are, in fact, as intelligent as crusty toenail fungus.

    The game remains in neutral territory! They have the right to choose. If it is put in game, thats essentially saying its ok and children are very impressionable. They lose their right to choose when someone forces it on them.

    Do you ever stop to think about how your blatant stupidity adversely affects "the children"? You'll do far more good self-censoring than you will attempting yet another tired rallying cry around what's good for children. You're admittedly insane; what makes you think you have any concept whatsoever about what constitutes proper child-rearing?

    Actually,going by that logic, NOT having **** marriage is essentially saying it's wrong and is thus no longer neutral.
