Mount levelling from lv1 - 11

I was wondering about levelling my mount, which is lv 1 at the moment and has a speed of 10m/s.. i've been feeding it water and riding around, the level is increasing slowly.. Could someone tell me what would happen if I stop feeding it and allow it to get starved?? and if you have any information about levelling a land mount please share it.. it would be much appreciated. b:victory

    it will just lvl VERY slow if you starve it. It also has a higher chance of dropping you if you are hit.
