Crim vs QQme Winner: Crimson!

I came in on the last hour on the streaming vid on Xfire.

It was interesting to watch, though, if possible, on the next TW it would be cool if someone left defending *each* base was running a stream, so we could keep a better eye on the crystal activity. Though I don't know if xfire would let us watch two vids simultaneously or not.

Was anyone able to rip a recording from the stream?

From the perspective we were limited to (TryHitMe of Crimson), and with me coming in on the last hour of the TW, it looked like Crimson was holding the advantage from at least that point on. I don't know when they gained it but they had a nice, solid push going against QQme's base. While QQme got catapults through to Crimson's base (and even crystal) a few times that I saw, I'm guessing the bigger presence of Crimson at QQme's doors was what proved to be too much.

Serious props to the catapullers who made it through that melee and all the way to Crimson's base though ^x^ It was tougher odds, from what I could see.

I just wish we'd had a view of the QQme base more often, it was mostly midfield.

Both guilds need more TW experience imo. There was a big lack of strategy going on, but that's normal for a first real war between two guilds. Especially when neither has had an 80vs80 war in this server.

I don't think Crimson would have won an attacking war vs QQme; both guilds have things to work on before either is going to take a land from the other. Still a good show, would have had a better view from a defense team member rather than a scout though. Hope to see some nice videos later.

As time goes on, hopefully more TWs will be like this. And better.

What's the record for *longest* TW on this server, where the crystal was broken for victory, and did this one make the cut, coming in at 4 minutes left?

What good damn TW b:pleased it went till the last minute. I knew it was going to be very though holding QQme 3 hours. I almost believed we could not win, cause of the lvl difference and QQme core has a good PvP experience.
Things went for the better to our side, but still was a very very tight fight.

I can't believe it went for that long XD I'd gotten used to the 12-30 minute TW alerts flashing over the screen. And here I actually watched one for over an hour... hard to fathom that y'all were at it for so long. Good matchup ^x^

That, and it's wicked fun, even with the added difficulty of playing. Or is it because of it...

And yeah, scarce class. That's part of the appeal for me ^x^ My first char was Veno but she's my change-of-pace Alt now. Full caster's just too much fun

Basically every strategy we came up with, they knew about before we put it in motion.

Proof of this would be that one of our archers grabbed a cata and didn't say anything on vent or in chat and he got in their base alone and DD their crystal.

Pretty much a summary of what happened. Good thing it is said from someone
outside QQme or it's be insta flame. b:laugh

QQme crystals highlights i can give you a few summary:
We were using mercenaries' public vent for TW. Most ppl got dced constantly including me.
At around 1 hour in, QQme was pushing lane C. i saw 3 crimson catas at lane A besides their towers (The opposite side. Some ppl think crimson had some informant about which lane QQme was attacking so they could push catas on another line full time) Since i was one of the ones that got kicked out of vent i just typed in on party chat. 15 Minutes laterz all same 3 catas had taken down the Front towers of lane A, 1 or 2 towers inside, and managed to get crystal down to 50%.
After that for some reason ppl played like a defensive TW for quite a while while crystal got up to 100% again. Crimson could only touch crystal again for too little time. Gotta give it to crimson's air teams. Outphoenixing any other guild gives you an edge and lots of positioning control vs unorganized mobs. I think this was what decided everything. They controlled air most of the time. Not gonna go into details.
The other highlight was towards the end of the TW when ppl started to try and zerg even at thew cost of not defending which is why crimson just ran catas to base and broke crystals with like 4~3 minutes remaining.

As for me i got bored since no vent so after ~2+ hours i just went to watch the stream and spot TryHitMe, and 1shot him just for the viewers' entertainment.

Lol spies and sabotage. Arguably some of the more unfair but totally legitimate tactics in a war. That loud music trick sounds like a dirty, but effective, tactic XD

Would that archer-pault be the one that got in towards the end of the TW? 'cause suddenly there was a beautiful level of activity surrounding Crimson's crystal XD

I honestly pressed T, unclicked everyone but clerics and purge bleed...it was quite boring considering everyone just falls over...even with my lowbie nix.

That was just ****n nice! I think both guilds did a great job, they lived up to the hype. Each side have some good strategy going on and was pretty fun and entertaining watching the fight, worth every minute of it. Damn, we need more TWs like this to keep HL alive.

Guys, we should stream more TWs like these. This is history in the making b:pleased
