Couple of pet questions please help ^^

Ok, so im lvl 30 and from quite low lvl ive had my golam thats been leveling up with me and its 30 now, but now i can fly im wanting a flying pet i heard petite sawfly are good (dps wise too) so i got one but its lvl 8.

Now my questions are is there a good flying pet i can tame around the lvl 25-30 range? if so where can they be found? if not what is the best way to lvl a lvl 8 sawfly to get it up to my level 30 as fast as possable?

Also one last question are rare pets actually better then those 2?

Any help would be wonderfull. :)

    There's the level 25 Silverwing Vook and the level 28 Goldenwing Emperor, both of which are found above Silver Pool and just west of West Archosaur. However, if you level the Petite Sawfly, you will end up with a better pet.

    If you want high damage pet sawfly is the best.
    but that pet has low armor so you have to watch for its hp when fighting more then 1 mob.

    NO other Tamable pet in game has higher damage then sawfly.

    Ok my I've got this veno received very good advise so far about what pets to train........my problem is I want a petite sawfly and can't find them would someone please point me in direction where I can find. Any help would be gratefully appreciated.

    They can be found plentyful around Bamboo Village in the tree's/bamboo..but if u go too far east from there then u run into Foxwing Supreme's (lvl60). Again Bamboo village southeast of Plume City :). Happy hunting.

    Get a sawfly and level it up, only took me 3 or 4 hours to grind one up to level 34 and then there's the extra loot $ you get while grinding it so it's definately worth it :)

    Golems are level 17 or 18, so don't worry about it just yet. When you do want one, they're near Timberfield/the FB up past Etherblade. There are always people selling them in CotL though.
