Decomp Genie EXP conversion rate.

Is unbelievably low. A level 50 genie, which took well over 2 million points to level to that point, can only be decomposed into an exp cube that gives 187k exp.

On top of this leveling a new genie ALSO has a very high exp penalty, dropping that 187k to probably no higher than 50k exp. So for a level 50 genie, you get somewhere's around 50k exp towards a new one? which would level a genie to what? maybe 14?

My question here is that I'm wondering if there's something I'm missing. Perhaps a method of leveling a genie that yields more decomp exp. Or maybe if you get the genie to a certain level, the penalty is much less? Any thoughts or knowledge that others have and I don't would be appreciated. Of course it could also just be that the penalty is really high, exp return is really low, and I just have to accept that.

i had the same problem. i leveled my genie to level 30, but when it hit level 30, i only got 2 lucky points so i decomposed it and bought a new one, assuming it would let me use the decomposed stone to make a new level 30 genie.
    not a chance QQ
i got it to level 12...........lol
i don't think you're missing anything, and that it might even be intended b:cry

Yeah, cuz u're supposed to level a genie as u level up. The bigger the level difference between you and the genie, the more you suffer in terms of exp and sp rate =(

well a lot of spirit is lost when spent on skills that dont work, or dont fit the skill description. i think conversion rate for decomped cubes should at least be 1 until the skills are fixed and everything's settled.

1rst good idea since a long time regarding the genies;)

leveling up a genie, or replenishing your SP after lv80 is real easy.. but a lot harder for lower levels..

and with the little bugs.; we do have for now.. conversion rate should be reviewed (as is the time for trading them .. we are still in the phase of " essuyer les platres" as we say in french (discovering the kinks) )
I look at all the trollers, and Pvpers.. and know they wouldnt have lasted 30sec on Camelot.

Rules= Know your enemy (players and NPCs) gives you more chances to survive.

Genies = money sink + exp sink + sp sink = working as intended

Seriously, did you think the devs would gift us players with a 'feature' that improved gameplay as opposed to extending it?

Wouldn't extending/adding gameplay also be considered a plus? Isn't that what an expansion does? If the genies extended or added something to the gameplay, I think the expansion did what it was supposed to do, it "expanded" the game.

Improved gameplay would come as an update, like the improved Find Quest feature, enhanced zoom, etc.

i don't think they realized the ridiculous extent of the multiplier effect that is set in place.

btw level 80 genie decomps for 1.7m xp which is just a tad over all the xp you need for a genie to get from 80-->81

its the point to make it less xp when you decomp. If there was no penalty i would just sit here and dcomp re lvl my genie at no cost till lucky points are perfect.

    very true

but extent matters...its like you get back 10 percent of the xp needed to level it...which would not be THAT bad...but then when you want to level another genie they also give you another penalty....multiplier effect ensues and you go from a level 97 genie to a level 40 genie....or so.
