Catshop expansion stone

i think 12 slots in the cat shop is not enough. perhaps add a catshop expansion stone that adds 4 more slots per item. you could charge as much as the safe or inventory expansion items. anyone else think this is a viable option? thx

But about your idea, it's not a bad option, but it really wouldn't attract much sales even if they have a Catshop extension stone lol...
But hey, it's an ok idea if you want the game code to add in more memory slots to remember your items because your cat shop has more items. So basically they have to change the entire game code just for you.
Well, not likely to happen sorry. Because the time and effort used to do that with just low sales potential = burning money. And no one likes to burn money, except for Bill Gates, who has trouble spending money.
But hey, if you have more than 12 items to sell on the Cat shop. I suggest you use the Auction House.Position: Professional Forum Troll

I think its a great idea, I've thought many times that it would be nice to extend the catshop. I dont know much about programming but I dont see why that would need a different game code, simply because it would be similar setup to the safe and inventory stones. I also think it would sell better than the other two post predicted.. many ppl I know complain about not having enough space.0

Well... it's not the same as the safe and inventory stones because the cat shop extension is NOT YET programmed into the game.
So to implement this, they have to search through millions of code written for this game to find the cat shop code. Add more memory locations for extra slots and make a new item that will allow us to implement it. Adding a new quest for the item to do its job. Making the quest work, testing it... etc...Position: Professional Forum Troll

Yeah, i'm sure the developers didn't use any kind of bookmarks and formatting so that the code is just a big fat block that no one's able to decipher.
Seriously, what you try to make looke like something that only a demigod can cope is in practice doable in less then 5 minutes. Adding a single value to an array variable isn't that hard.
Anyways, i don't like the idea because i don't wanna see the kitty shops replace the AH.0 -

Well.. we both don't really know what's really going on.. I just assumed the worst that's all....
But hey, I have a hunch that things are really more difficult than it seems. Or the programmers are horribly lazy.Position: Professional Forum Troll

No matter how complicated things are, nothing justifies the fact that after how many years (?) they still haven't fixed stuff like the broken pet flesh ream, barrage of arrows and many other skills.
I don't think the developers are lazy, more that they are completly unwilling to provide their (mostly) paying community any kind of quality service.0 -

I hope the GMs are reading what Osiris said in Red. It might be a big concern because it says community... and unwilling... and paying... and quality service.Position: Professional Forum Troll

It's not something that "just takes 5 minutes".
Change the code to allow for more slots
Change the code to have the catshops have a scroll bar, or change the code to allow for the catshop to actually increase in size.
Code new items for the players to extend the catshops.
Code the NPC for a quest to increase the Catshops size.
Code the item into the Boutique.
Port the change from the Chinese version to every other version.
It takes more than "just 5 minutes" to implement something like that, and then it requires testing to ensure it's working right.
One simple change can require HOURS to implement properly.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -

What makes you think that that many players WOULD buy this ?
maybe the (less than) 25% of players that uses double accounts to have a permanent catshop... ?
The money income isnt worth the time in programming.I look at all the trollers, and Pvpers.. and know they wouldnt have lasted 30sec on Camelot.

Apperently they did.
I personnaly think it's a great idea. I'm a big seller and I never have enough space in my cat.
Coding is not what's stopping them from working on stuff, that's their job. They just only do it if they can make a profit out of it. Expanding cats for free, never. Selling Extension stones, hell yeah!
You people should understand that by now...0 -

They only do it if the people they work for tell them to do so.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0
