Power lvling barb

Recently got bored of my veno so decided to make a barb, I've heard barbs lvl at snail pace so I wondered if letting it leech off my veno would be a good idea, I know there is a serious xp penalty and I could just help it with quests till 35-40, but after that would grinding it solo/squad be better than letting it leech off my lvl 80 veno with nix?

    Your barb will lvl as fast you want it to. All about the effort you put in.

    It's best to level it with quests and mobs it's own level. You can try leaching, but it will level faster if you just do it's quests.....

    i'm at lvl 25 and have been playing for 2 weeks. Is that good or bad?

    It depends on how much time you play each week. I started this barb when the Dreamweaver server opened, but I don't play that much.

    powerleveling not works here really. the best way to "powerlvl" is to have 2nd char in same range of lvl +-5-7 levels. Proven by very long try.

    my 5th day palying mt barb and i am lv37 hehehe and playing as a bow barbarian even iff i might get flamed i am lving quite nicely lving on bees and magic mobs on air and getting 0,3 to 0,6 per mob killed muahahaha this is so fun going for the green drakes today i love the lv grindingb:dirty

    my first toon was an archer, and my barb has outleveled the archer in about 1/2 the time. Personally, I think leveling a barb is super easy...just takes a bit of grinding, which can be fun since the barb doesn't have to kite everything of a similar level-and can generally tank for 2-5 lvls higher on normal quests.

    Yep leveling a barb is relatively easy until the 50s. Till then you dont have to 'think' too much about what you are doing. Just dive in headfirst and live through it all. Only thing is, if you're a tanker build, it takes ages to actually kill anything. So thought he leveling process is easy, the time taken may be a tad more than other classes.

    After 50 you need to be a touch careful, since almost all mobs now can use magical attacks. You need to move around taking care to not aggro multiple mobs. Survival isn't a problem. With a HP charm, you can live through three mobs doing 500 dmg per hit, but charm costs when added to your repair bills, make it not worth it.

    LOL la will make a difernce after 50s and mostly all 60s 70 never been on as my highest lv i got even with veno is lv69 on lc just the boring rutine with veno made it boring and why i need something unique to help me lv all the way past 70 to goodhood alredy feel nice as bowbarbarian and alredy lv39 will do my fb39 with my veno friend and her friends and grind quest m

    There's no real power lvling as a barb but there are some mobs which are better than others for exp. Starting from lvl25 I've been grinding off vipions. Later in the game in your 40s to 60s you'll see vipions are actually easy to kill, even without mp and ur really not suffering much - just dont kill more than 3 at a time. Looking through databases I've also noticed vipions give more exp than any mobs in the same lvl range.
    Heck I'm still grinding off lvl50 vipions which give more exp than lvl56 mobs and any lvl50 mob of the same lvl. If I'm close to the lvl54 vipions I grind on them for hours. The DQ and items they drop are good for money while grinding. Much easier than risking a thunderfin or other crazy magic mobs or even foxies which are at a much higher lvl, not to mention they're fire type.

    Off topic but..

    I saw you dueling a highlevel in Etherblade a while back, Tiger_Zero. Interesting choice, going with the bow. You were actually making a nice dent in his HP for a while until he decided to pull that last attack on you. How much were you hitting him for, per arrow?
