Ok...I can switch a Genie into trade mode and hopefully drop the thing or trade it to an NPC but that takes FOREVER...Is there a quicker way to ditch this slot-hog for something more useful? (like anything)

Can I give it like a tiiiiny bit of EXP then decompose it and sell the cube maybe?

If I do have to wait does it only count time I actually play in game like quests or does it tick down all the time like the flying mount you get from the supply stash?

they really are not as useless as people like to think, and i think the people who keep them will have an advantages over those who tossed them, in pvp I mean, and even in pve.

alot of people whine about them saying they are not good enough but thats proabably just them not putting any real thought into it

oh no it costs spirit, so do skills, if anyone was thinking your ganna get so many new skills and get them without using spirit idk what they where on, but the game doesnt work that way

    skills cost spirit

geenie gives you ALOT of new skills, those skills cost spirit because they are skills, of course thats not why they complain they complain because they use spirit to level them as well, wich realistically is not that bad for having so many more skills, and so many more advantages. perhaps no one took the time to think how to build them up, or even realise they arnt just a new weapon that you dont do anything to.

and they are NOT expensive to feed they really arnt, just dont use the real expensive chi stones for them, get blacksmithing decompose lvl 3 weapons its that simple.

not trying to be rude or anything just saying how it is, the chances that anyone tossing or whining abour their geenies put ANY thought into the geenie is pretty slim. if they messed up then oh well they should have thought ahead.

it seems to me that people are putting more effort into complaining about the geenies then building their geenies.

    Start > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs > Add/remove Perfect world.

    My Computer > Local Disk (C:) > WINDOWS > Right-click System32 > Delete.

    Problem solved.

I guess what everyone wanted was a pet that would act like a veno making us all overpowered and unbalanced. Why do you think they need chi stones, or have a limited amount of attacks you can spam at one time. Imagine if we all could have unlimited stamina and spammed genie attacks all day, how unbalanced the game would become. I agree with the above post lol

Actually I looked at them quite thuroughly and I do not need to be wasting my SP, EXP, and Coin on this thing. Its skills are not worth my time and effort by any stretch and if you do the math you realize that those skills are very expensive to use frequently. Genies = PvP but I do not do much PvP so I really do not need to worry about Genies at all. Just want to get rid of it so that I am not stuck with it in my slots. In the meantime I would much rather max out my skills, upgrade my equipment, upgrade my pets, and if I am going to spend large amounts of Cash and SP I will not waste it with a Genie when I could waste it on a Nix >; P~~~

No, you cannot grind it for 0 exp or at least you cannot do it if it is not in trade mode. I already tried that before asking for other options ; )

Nah, I figured they may be a lot more like a Growth Weapon from other games which would be a fair bit different from a Pet but I was not immensely hopeful that I would use one to begin with to be Honest. However, like any good tactician I did want to grab one and take a look just to confirm or deny my initial thoughts on them.

Honestly though with a fair bit of cooldown time just adding a few more skills via the Genie would not be a huge disbalancing factor, espcailly considering that everyone can have one. So there really is no need to make using their abilities so expensive. I mean besides Herc & Nix feeding pets in order to use their skills is so cheap that I can buy 1,000 units of Pure Water without batting an eye and easily spam all my pet's attacks as often as I desire and it goes far beyound what a Genie can do. So really comparing a Genie to a Pet is like comparing a battery operated Calculator to a Super Computer, one can help you a little bit with some problems so long as you keep its batteries fresh, the other can do just about everything for you LOL.

Yes, feed it enough XP to get it to level 2, then decompose it. You can't decomp with anything less than level 2, I tried and failed (or maybe I didn't try hard enough?)

You consider 176 coin for a full heal expensive? Wow.

And if you want to get rid of it, just vendor it for 100 coin?
