Common sence about genies. NEED GM TO CONFIRM THIS

ok people seriously ... ok common sence genies dont suck.... listen you get them at a low lvl so there fore there skills are going to be verry week

THEY WILL BE MORE BARABLE WHEN THEY ARE YOUR LVL AND THEIR SKILLS ARE AT HIGH LVLS.

lvl it up with your spirit. i know you have at least 200k to waste on them if your lvl 40+ just lvl them up

    i know there are lots of threads about it but they are all complaining about them ... its because they are impatient and arnt using common sence they just need to lvl up their skills and lvl

    Well i doubt we need a confirmation from GM.
    But as a level 78 with a level 78 genie and two maxed lvl 10 skills i also say they rock. People who are complaining either dont understand them, dont have a maxed genie, or didnt bother to thoroughly read skill descriptions and wasted sp on it. Another reason for the complaints is that people assume too much. A lot of people expected to have a little veno pet or something running around making them all over powered. Unfortunately people seem to find a negative in everything and need to poo poo on our parade

    I agree theyre not bad, theyre a good addition, what really fails is that GMs didnt give a propper guide, and the description of the spells in the Skill Inquiry isnt good enough to give u an idea of what spell ull need, to the fact that no one would know which genie to get, and bad descriptions of the spells, made most of the server waste SP and EXP in stuff that when they got it failed. thats what happened to me and many ppl i know

    Just be careful in selecting skills. I had to double read everything so i fully understood the full value of the skill for my class. I got thunderstomr added which is a dmg skill. Not the best but still decent with it maxed. I think it did around 5K at optimum range. The winged shell i got so i could use it in conjunction with my plume shell. On average the 30% dmg reduction reduced each individual hit (magic and phys) by 50-100 points, which for a cleric can be important. My initial genie skill was the pillar of flame (i forget the exact name) which reduces the attack and def of the target by 4%. I think the skills are the hardest aspect of the genie since you really have to plan out stats and affinities to avoid wasting sp.

    yes i agree. i sugest that people read the spells and UNDERSTAND what each one does. and from that deside what 2-3 atributes you want to specilize in. the 3 atributes that fit you type of playing.

    i actually picked metle fire and water.

    and i actually got the genie i wanted WOO BLUE

    Yeah but the descriptions in the inquiry are not full, they tell u a very short description of what it does, so when u actually get it its not as close as u expect it to be, and u can be using ur points in a way u shouldnt, i want numbers in that thing. Or a guide with a full description of the spells

    I absolutely ADORE my lil' Infliction (I really hope we could name our Genies... ^^) She's a like a mini-nuke with her decent attacking skills and a decreased Channeling skill. Though I probably am going to reset when I hit 80, and have my 3 skills be Earth Claw, Thunderstorm, and Elemental Weakness. Hehe...more damage, here I am! Let's go, Infliction! b:victory

    does any1 know how much does elemental weakness reduce? and if it can be used with the green genie first spellin combination?
