Gem Packs (Worth or not worth it)

No worth it in my opinion. you have to pay 1 gold to possibly get an average gem? We were paying 30 silver per angle to get one of these durring the angle event. Would be worth it if you had a chance to get upto at least a lvl 10 gem.

    If its 1 gold for 120k

    average - about 50k
    beautiful - about 200k
    flawless - about 800k

    If its 50/30/20 chances you still have a 50/50 chance of making a profit

    You can also get elemental shards though...which in my eyes is useless.

    So that brings it down another 50%.

    LOL kewl, you actually have the rates

    so thats a 4/10 * 5/10 = 20/100

    So 2 in 5 will make you at least a bit of profit

    For the regular folks, your gonna lose a ****load of money....

    I bought ten just for kicks and gigle and got all average or beautiful citrine and saphire shards, so it was worht it for me.

    average - 60k
    beautiful - 240k
    flawless - 960k
    (this are the price to make them from average ones, not the sell price!)

    now possibilities are:
    60% avarage
    35% beautiful
    5% flawless


    so the average amount of coin you get from a pack is:

    60*0.6 + 240*0.35 + 960*0.05 = 168(k)

    168k is the most highest value you could get out of it, however you calculate.
    However, the sell price is WAY LOWER!

    First of, 50% of those shards are elemental, which are pretty much worthless to playermarket, so now we go down to 84k

    Now to sell those things to players they need to be lower in price then a player could uy them from NPC, so we subtract another 10% (atleast) from
    84k, now we end up with ~72k coin worth sellable shards (MAX!)


    so lots of text, short answer: no, its not worth buying it.
    However, if you like to gamble, you might try to buy them anyway, maybe you
    get lucky and have an over avarage good run (but most likely not)
