unable to connect to server?

well just like always b4 maintance i get out of the game shut down...go take a nap..come back once its done..and download the patch and resume my gaming..but this time..after downloading patch 135..i cannot connect to any server...it says "unable to connect to server"...ive Re-installed the game already..took me 6 hours...b:surrender....STILL cannot connect...plz..can anyone help me? im lost

    How are you connected to the internet?

    Who is your ISP?

    Where in the world are you?

    What have you tried?

    What error messages did you get?

    What kind of results when you tried each thing?
    Do you need help learning about patching the game, installing it, changing antivirus/firewall settings, changing network settings, learn how to use a computer, keeping your PC maintained and more?

    everything is normal, the patch updated normally
    it lets me go into the login screen but when i try to actually login
    it says "Unable to connect to server"
    normally when my patch doesn't start updating i just restart my computer and it works again
    but this time its not the patch that doesn't work
    its the login part

    Same thing is happening to me. All the servers on the Launcher screen are blinking if that means anything. Looks like they really screwed up with the 135 patch. I've been trying since 5 hours ago. I can get online with Conquest Online just fine.

    god man this is T-total bull...my computer and game ran perfectly fine until this stupid 135 patch comes..and it wont work..?? how can this be my computers fault at all?b:sad

    I mean where in the REAL WORLD where are you located b:pleased

    Telling us "all the same" doesn't help us at all. They each have different results. Each one takes time to try and go through methodically.

    Try bypassing wireless and plugging your computer directly into the router, or bypassing the router and plugging your computer into the cable or DSL modem directly.

    If it works, then your computer may have firewall, security or network settings that need to be changed.

    If it doesn't work, go through the networking info and describe better what you have changed and tried.

    If your security software didn't setup exceptions for the files that the game has changed perhaps?

    The game processes that you need to add exceptions for that the game requires are:

    elementclient.exe
    pwprotector.exe
    patcher.exe
    launcher.exe

    Where in the world are you? - Denver, Colorado

So sorry fixing things related to computer is not really my thing

    Did you review the patching info in this thread: http://pwi-forum.perfectworld.com/sh...ad.php?t=87242 - I actually tried downloading the manual patch from that site, but when it tried installing it says "reading
    the new patch" and couple seconds later, it says "error" & "Version and client are same"

    What have you tried?- I've done rebooting, verifying and download manual patch

    What error messages did you get? - "Unable to connect to server" thats about it, first time that have ever happened to me

    What kind of results when you tried each thing? - All same thing, "Unable to connect to server".

    If you are not familiar with networking or computer settings, no problem. You may need to ask someone who is to help you out, or have a PC Technician to help you figure it out.

    i give up guys sorry for wasting your time..but its bs..bc its is'nt my internet...we've just got done checking its your stupid patch w/e it did it fcked almost everything up internet wise for me...and yes it was the patch..bc b4 it got downloaded everything worked fine...now after patch computer = no worky worky...sorry have fun guys -.- 86 barb for nothing...

    well, i agree with everyone else, its not the internet connection, it happened after updating the thing. i was happy after seeing that there were going to be genies, but then i get "unable to connect to server" maybe u guys need to make a new patch...

    There are thousands of players currently in-game, on all of our servers.

    This patch added and changed many game files, which your security/antivirus/firewall settings may have blocked the game because it views the updates as a threat.

    Please add exceptions for our game files:

    elementclient.exe
    patcher.exe
    launcher.exe
    pwprotector.exe

    If you need to setup exceptions for the IP addresses of our patch and game servers, please see the list and info here: http://pwi-forum.perfectworld.com/showthread.php?t=75572&page=4

    You may have to research the support websites or documentation for your security software, so that you will know how to make those specific changes, if applicable.

    guys elow...

    still have problem tht cannot connect on server

    its still unanvale to connect?

    look i found the solution..its in ur Anti-vairus

    look at the Antivirus, the program i mean thn look the firewall

    look the PW sytem and if u see it if it put costumise, change it to connet to outbaund and thts it nothing more u can connet thn
