Hi I'm in the process of downloading this right now and I'm debating on which class to use I think I wanna try the venomancer or whatever that class is called do I start off with a pet and does it always follow me around without me having to use mp or anything like that?

Edit: I read up some of the class guides so I have a new question what class do you think is best for a first time player of any MMO?

the best class to start on is a veno... They **** both pve and pvp. I dont think they require mp.. but I know they require food.. depends on pet and stuff but u should probably talk to a veno.

Venomancers are supposed to be the "New to the game" class. They're pretty easy to play and are versatile if you feel like experimenting.

Pets don't require much, if any, MP and will follow you around until something prevents them from going where you are (Straight up a cliff, Invisible barriers between areas, Etc). Pets do, however, require you to feed them every 5 minutes (for best results). Feeding them increases how much they like you, or in other words, how likely they are to take orders from you and how much damage and exp they gain. If you don't feed them, at all, eventually they will start to attack you (As would any animal turned feral).

Since it sounds like you're new to MMOs in general, I would recommend playing as a Venomancer and getting to know how things work with that character until you feel comfortable, and if you have any more question about game play, just ask here again.

All right thank you I just wish there was a male Venomancer seems how my ingame name is VincentV4Gaara but oh well after I finish downloading the game and am able to play it I'll probably have plenty of questions.

Edit:Actually can Venomancers use Bows I figure the pet can handle all the up front attacks while I snipe away from a distance seems how I don't really care for magic.

Probably a little late, but if this is your first MMO ever, I really wouldn't go with a venomancer right off the bat. You're best bet is a Blademater or a Barbarian, as they're rather simple (no offense intended to anyone) to manage. Venomancers have a lot of tricks that you, as the player outside the computer realm, have to master, like luring and multitanking....which can be daunting to someone whose never played an MMO before.

Venomancers can use bows, however, all the act of healing a pet (which you will be doing a lot), as well as ALL your venomancer skills, is only accessible through either having no weapon equipped or a magic weapon equipped. You also have to go through a couple levels before you get your first pet.

If you want to snipe away froma distance, you also might consider an Archer, which is obviously the bow using class. Another class I really wouldn't recommend to a complete newb to MMOs, but not as difficult as one of the caster classes to manage.

    Good luck! :)

Yeah, venomancers can use bows, but they don't have any skill. If you like bows, become an archer. The good thing about them is that they have the ability to kill before they enemy reaches them. But not after some serious leveling. You can't just expect to choose an archer and 1 hit ko. It takes time and patience to master this class. At first I found it quite annoying that i always almost die even after killing 1 monster, but then i realized that i've being putting my attribute points all in the wrong sections!
