How come everytime..without fail... i swing by plume to do my world quest..either i get a pm or a random squad invite asking for help killing mobs? doesn't happen in any other cities...


why are elves soooo...needy?

    Everytime I've been to Plume some male elf PMs me in broken english to be their g/f! b:shocked Of course they stop as soon as I tell them I'm a dude lol!

    Interesting derailing of the topic b:chuckle

    But to answer the initial question before the concept of **** an manboobs distracted us all (me included -.^ ) I believe there are two sources to the issue.

    1)The idea of elves appeals to younger audiences. Wings do too. Put them together and you have more teens rolling winged elves than the number of bloodelves named some variation of "Sephiroth" or "Naruto" in WoW (which I hear may be up to about a million.)

    2)There are 2 starter elf quests that involve killing "elite" mobs. Some spirit floating about the dockhouse NW of Plume and that venomancer siren. Both are ranged physical damage mobs which hurt as a cleric or an archer at lower levels. If I'm remembering right, humans and untamed have one elite mob each to kill. Humans get that dryad/tree which can be kited by a wiz or tanked by a BM and Untamed get the annoyance that are darkbreed wolves (but they can get this done during their FB and venos can solo the wolves easily in any case, barbs get the short end of the stick though.)
