Skill Icons Wrong - Windows 7 RC1 64bit

Two days ago I installed the Windows 7 RC1 64 bit version. Today I installed Perfect World, upgraded (with quite a bit of hassle, as usual - the one great minus of PW, c'mon guys, other MMOs do far better).

Everything works fine with all graphic settings maxed out but water on minimum, as water is bugged as you know. Then I was like "Huh? When did my Venomancer learn earth barrier?" All the skill icons are wrong. The same is with my mage.

    Try the verify button on the launcher. It will take several minutes but should fix the problem.

    I did try the verify button, no change yet.

    Win7 is beta, yes I know. And I didn't expect PW to run to be honest. Every other game (Bioshock, Mirrors Edge, UT, a few others) is running fine, and so I gave it a try. And it runs fine if it wouldn't be for this issue.

    I have trouble relating this to Win7 though, as it seems there are just a few icons messed up. Most likely it's just the screwed update process once again. :(

    Edit: I'm reinstralling the game and using the manual update process.

    Alright, got it to work - PW is really starting to annoy me. b:chuckle

    The manual update didn't work because one file was reported to be damaged. But the normal update seemed to work this time. Whatever you guys are doing with the update, you are doing it wrong.

    If I wouldn't have played PW before and known what an awesome game it is I would have deleted it right away and never spared a second thought on it. A (working) update on the updater might be due...
