Im just wondering if anyone has gotten the Lion mount from the charm pack yet?

    Shinzoko has a lion from the original charm pack release. HollyKnight had one, but I haven't seen him in months.

    Aslhan had one from the previous charm event. Not sure if theres been any new ones.

    I was going to put in couple hundred bucks to try my luck but if it is as difficult to get as the last event, i rather buy/trade stuffs for it.

    Youd probably be better off putting those couple hundred bucks into worldly cruises or tours >_>;;; its much more braggable. (and decently educational)

    As for the % wasnt that mount like a 0.1 or a 0.5%? Unless they tweaked if for this packet.. =/

    A friend of mine has spent nigh on 400 gold tryin to get a lion mount thru the packs and ended up gettin squat, I feel sorry for her personally.

    ive tried 6 times to get a lion mount and got squat. Im not wasting nemore of my hard earned cash to be dissappointed. Everything eventually goes on sale in the boutique neways, so I can picture a lot of people bein mega pissed if and when the lion becomes a mount u can buy after all the time PW has spent promoting trying to get one thru charm parks.

    Gd luck to that lol

    Positive note: yes 5 charms for 4
    negative: You could probably spend $500 and not get a lion, dont waste ur money on PW's cash cow unless u really just want charms, (Didnt they offer better items with the last charm pack sale?)

    There are at least two of the lions on HT. Oddly enough both won over the past few days by the same person on two different toons. The lower level toon traded it to her higher toons husband. Now there is a husband & wife running around HT on matching lion mounts.

    Most of the folks trying for a lion are buying the charm packs, using the egg, selling the charms individually to make back the cost of the entire pack, and using that money to buy another charm pack. Just because you spend 400 gold (or 1500 gold) on charm packs doesn't mean you actually had to pay $400 or $1500 for it.

    I guess I'm fortunate. I find glowy things to be annoying, so the lion ranks near the bottom of my list of cool mounts.

    This is correct. That is 100 charm packs to get a 2% chance of getting the lion.

    That means every 5000 charm packs, there is a lion.

    5000 x $15 = $75,000

    Sooooo....PWI is making $75,000 for every lion you see. Those are some super expensive pixels when you think about it and break it down. Really it is nearly impossible if not impossible to buy enough charm packs to guarentee you a lion.

    Btw, did anyone else notice the things inside the rainbow egg suck this time? What is with those Req level under 40 charms? >_> I mean it's supposed to be a bonus. They really suck. I cant even use them.

    I personally dont like the lion either. I dont think it is that cool of a mount. I do like the fox though so it isn't because the lion is glowy that i dont like. It just looks funny. I buy the charm packs for the charms b:pleased I am never disappointed that way.

    Edit: -blinks- now reading the name, i realize you are the one who won the lion on the HT server. I remember your name and how many WC's you used. If it isn't you the name is damn near identical.

    Well, if you want to be a stickler about the math, no. 100 charm packs only gives you a 1.98% chance to get the lion. The extra .02% difference is due to your chance to get 2 or more lions. That is, the small chance to get 2 or more lions from 100 packs raises the average to 2%. But the chance to get at least one lion is only 1.98%. Or put another way, you have a 98.02% chance not to get the lion from 100 packs.

    The fox is nowhere near as glowy as the lion. When someone on the lion mount crosses my screen, I get the urge to take off my glasses and clean them. The glow looks like when my glasses or camera lenses are fogged up.

    I rarely ever WC, actually still have some teles from the quest that gave teles at Thanksgiving. The person you're thinking of is Amazical or something like that. Unfortunely I get mistaken for her a lot.

    It's closer to your name than That. There has to be just a slight slight difference between her name and yours. It could have been maybe Amazonion or something. Whatever it is, It's really close to your name.

    This confuses me slightly. Why isn't the .02% chance counted? From what i understand, from what you said the .02% is a chance to get 2 or more lions, meaning that it is still a chance to get lions. I was talking about the overall chance of getting any lions. Are you talking about the possibilty of getting only 1 lion?
