Ok, so I've looked around to try to find the answer to this, and I can't find it anywhere. What do the color of the dots before the name of a quest mean? I know that the color of the quest itself refers to whether it is normal, magic reward, or cultivation related. But I can't seem to find any relevance of the color of the dot.

*Sorry, it wont let me edit the name of the thread. It should obviously say dot.

Yes, I know about the color of the words. I even mentioned them in my post. I am talking about the color of the dot when selecting the quest. There are white dots, green dots, and red dots. There may be others as well, but those are the ones I can remember right now.

i think the answer you might be looking for is....
white and green are quests that you can do, orange is a quest you are not high enough level for, or haven't completed some pre-requisite for.
you will likely have similar dots at the teleport stones in arch...green will be fb's and instances like tt that you can teleport into, orange ones that you cannot.
