I'm not sure which area to post this question, but I'm trying to figure out if GMs or someone that works with the game if they have capibilities in tracking items or is that just a hindrance or is this where if you lose it too bad for you kind of thing?

    I'm pretty sure they do. Most mmo GMs, importers or designers, doesn't matter...they have so far had rights to things like that. But I doubt if they use it outside of extreme cases such as duping/bugs.
