did harshlands just go down? login screen's telling me it's not even getting pings from it

question 2, i have a miji i just started. i'm guessing when the servers come up, i'll no longer have my miji? =_=

    apparently it just crashed me out, ran up 20 mins on my miji and 150k on my heiro. gg....

    i was leveling, had 2 magic mobs on me when it crashed. apparently it never kicked me out of the system

    When you Disconnect or Force Quit, your character stays in the game for a little longer. 15 seconds for Force Quits, someone timed that yesterday. It's roughly the same for D/C's - My husband used to get booted from his laptop and it would show him dropped from squad but frozen on my screen for a while before blinking him out. (The funny thing is, we LOWERED our internet speed and get fewer issues now. Stuff actually moves faster. For less money. Go figure XD)

    I came across someone in Shining Tidewood who had been D/C'd, I saw them dead next to a mob with an item dropped. I got the item back to them later and they mentioned the D/C. They were alive when they lost the connection to the game... but the character (wizard or cleric, I forget...) stayed in-game without the player long enough to die to a Midnight Jackaleopardite. They were doubly unlucky because they managed to get that 1% chance of an inventory drop (which affects all level players when killed by a mob).
