A friend of mine sent me this, and i thought it very appropriate for this forum, which seems to have more anger than kindness on it...
Good thought to live by
One day I hopped in a taxi and we took off for the airport.
We were driving in the right lane when suddenly a black car
jumped out of a parking space right in front of us. My taxi
driver slammed on his brakes, skidded, and missed the other
car by just inches!
The driver of the other car whipped his head around and
started yelling at us. My taxi driver just smiled and waved
at the guy. And I mean he was really friendly.
So I asked, 'Why did you just do that? This guy almost
ruined your car and sent us to the hospital!' This is when
my taxi driver taught me what I now call, 'The Law of the
Garbage Truck.'
He explained that many people are like garbage trucks. They
run around full of garbage, full of frustration, full of
anger, and full of disappointment.
As their garbage piles up, they need a place to dump it and
sometimes they'll dump it on you. Don't take it personally.
Just smile, wave, wish them well, and move on. Don't take
their garbage and spread it to other people at work, at
home, or on the streets.
The bottom line is that successful people do not let
garbage trucks take over their day. Life's too short to wake
up in the morning with regrets, so....Love the people who
treat you right. Pray for the ones who don't.
Life is ten percent what you make it and ninety percent how
you take it!
Have a happy, garbage-free day!

This is dumb.
First: Change "Many people" to "All people" when referring to "people are like garbage trucks"
When something is incited onto you, you can at the same time, "dump your garbage" in 1 event as opposed to you having to commit your "event" later on. Your eventual, although not immediate reaction to being cut off will be another event such as cutting off someone else and possibly killing a family of four.
I believe this topic should be closed due to it's Pro-Kill a family of four- message.0 -

Makes me so hateful..

Being kind just means you're afraid. Why was the taxi driver afraid? He was afraid because that dude in the black car would have beat his face in. Rawr. That's right, smile and wave to that guy in the car.
It's like in this game. When you see me coming, you better wave and wish me a good day...or I'll beat your face in. b:angry
But if I could be serious for just a moment and remind you all that I'm so much better than you.
And that taxi driver must have been on drugs. I would have beat that other drivers face in.Good thought to live by

taking me to the airport as if nothing had happened.
So I asked, 'Why did you just do that? That guy made a simple
mistake and you ruined his face and probably sent him to the hospital!'
This is when my taxi driver taught me what I now call, 'The
Law of the Garbage Truck.'
He explained that many people are like garbage trucks. They
run around full of garbage, full of frustration, full of
anger, and full of disappointment.
As their garbage piles up, they need a place to dump it and
sometimes they'll dump it on you. But remember, you are not
someone's personal dumping ground. If someone gives you
garbage, you make sure to let them know where they can stick
it.
Just smile, walk over, beat the hell out of them, and move on.
Don't take their garbage or let them spread it to other people
at work, at home, or on the streets. Don't let people walk over
you and don't give them a chance to do it to someone you love.
The bottom line is that successful people do not let garbage
trucks take over their day. Life's too short to wake up in the
morning with regrets of not beating the **** out of someone,
so....Love the people who treat you right and insert religious
overtones here.
Life is ten percent what you make it and ninety percent how
you beat the **** out of it!

Very beautiful words to live by and very enlightening foxy. It be nice if many people could learn to clean up their garbage, or dump it in it's proper place and not on people.
I wonder people who are negative like that on the forums others are starting to stereo type them as younger kids, and not adults. However, i think the majority of these negative people range between eighteen to twenty four. I also think that somewhere in their life things are not going well, so they take their anger out on others. Some have poor self esteem and need to make themselves feel important by bashing or putting down others. Then we have people who socially just fail at human interaction. Perhaps as a youth they were never taught how to be polite to someone, or maybe were isolated from others who knows.
Some self evaluation might not hurt, and i like the thought don't let a grouch ruin your day. Grouches are people who love garbage. lol0 -
im glad you and some others like it. b:thanks i like to come here to chat, and see the news, learn things. but more and more often this place seems to be an eternal flamewar, with nothing but anger and total disregard for others feelings, no respect for anyone. its like one giant BBS devoted to seeing how much you can hurt others...like if you cant PK them in the game, many try to do the same thing with words. and, despite the old schoolyard chant, words can and do hurt, and even kill.
please, people, think of that, before being nasty to someone?Flauschkatze - Heavens Tear wrote: »Kantorek's game? >.>

Actually I think this game forum has the highest number of meanies (yeah I just said meanies) on the internet. Its a shame having to read reply after reply written by total morrons that has nothing better to do than doing what they do best; dumping their stinky garbage on others. Oh and save me from hearing Im just like them now, that will make me burst into laughter. If my garbage is insulting the insulters then Im damn happy about it. Being right isnt whats important, just punishing those that does wrong.0

Indeed. And you live in so much better land. Drive so much better car. have so much better work and so much better family. Oh not to mention getting so much better paycheck. You also think so much better thoughts and are so much smarter. And you live so much longer then rest of us.
And at the end of your days you get so much better death and will be buried in so much better coffin with so much better tombstone over it.
What a lucky **** you are. I envy you.0 -

No I have no idea what /b/ means. You seem like such a sweetheart, you tell me what that is.0 -
Yeap, there are many trashtalks going on this forum everyday.
Poor forum mods that got to read all this. That's some crappy job...
Sometimes I feel like half of the threads aren't even worth a reply but they still keep on going anyway... while the other half is worth a reply but very rude one. :P0 -

If you don't know and feel this forum has the most, "meanies," as you put it... you do not want to know what /b/ is. Nor do you want to ever visit the SomethingAwful forums, nor many other game forums and areas on the internet.
To put it in simple terms: These forums are tame compared to what's out there.0
