First up :
I know their probly tons and tons of topics such as this but even so i want to make a point that it wasn't made by anyone.

The marriage system : okay we spend 60$ to get married for a title and for bonus exp and for some other special things. That is the whole reason of marriage in this game.
Some may do it out of fun, and love but it all comes down to what it gives :
" and that is nothing, zero. "
Don't want to sound bad here but we been waiting for a long time for marriage system to be implemented.

Am sure their a lot of people who are married in this wonderful game that we all love who will like to know : When will we get the effect for the money we paid ?

Second up :

I want everyone to contribute to this. If you wish to contribute with your vote then : +1 on your reply
Let's make this topic into a poll and show everyone that we all wish to get at least something out of this : even a 10% exp bonus, anything at all. for the 60$ that most of you paid to get married.

Thanks for reading and i hope u all will vote for this .

LoL first of all the is no poll for us to vote with/on.
And secondly Marriage is just a feature of the game, and it is not neccesary!

There's already the marriage candies which give free reputation.

But really, why does everything have to give some in-game bonus? There's nothing wrong with having some vanity items in the game, just for fun. I knew before I got them that my fashion clothes and my Huggy Hare were only for show, but I still got them anyway.

There should be a bonus if you're paying real money or millions of ingame cash for it.
Maybe you don't just have to do it, but kinda sad that the game has such an interesting feature that's completely inaccessible to a lot of players.

Alot of people get married everyday in PWI, if they thought the reward wasn't good enough then people wouldn't get married.

I'm married to the person I'm married with in real life and I love it. It's a great little bonus to the game for couples.

I don't want to sound oldfashioned but I think if people want to get married within the game it should be for the right reasons, being sympathy, chemistry or the likes.
If they give married chars too much advantages people will use that for the wrong reason.

It should be used as it is now: a fun feature to make the game more appealing and no chance for you to boost your stats. Or to show off.

I'd probably get married, but unfortunately, both me and my RL husband prefer to play female avatars.

And there can't be any of that in perfect world. :P

Well i did read somewhere on one of the forums that you get 50% exp bonus and i special skill for grinding or something of that nature but it has not yet been implemented. I would have to agree that it would be nice to see a increase of #% exp bonus when grinding

Also not alot of ppl would get married ingame as its price is alot $60us dollars

It's true, I was planning to when I started the game but I'm pretty certain I wont be now. It should be something that gives absolutely no bonuses but is easily affordable to the average player. There's plenty of other ways they could make income than taking advantage of couples.

There's something a bit wrong with the idea of only being allowed to marry someone you love if you're rich imo.

I already spent 30$ to get married, and am about to spend another 3.5mil to buy the gold for it. Why am I doing this?

Just because I can. It's a game, enjoy it. Don't get married if you don't want to. I personally like the title and the items you get from it.
    Marriage System
Perfect World has a complete marriage system. Both players will have an online notice, have a wife/husband title, have 2 special marriage-related skills, lover's clothes, and driving pets. Marriage requires two items for the bride and groom from the Cash Shop which are $30 each (30 gold in game) in Perfect World item shop currency (Cubi-Gold)

By the way, there is no online notice, no skills or pets in our version. All we get are Wedding Gifts that give either Wine Coupons or Candy to be sold or used. There is also like a 15% increase in EXP when in a party.

(For example, my EXP went from 295 to 310. Not much if you're only going for that.)

Is the 15% exp bonus correct? My IRL husband and I typically play the game together and our primary characters are virtually always in a 2-player squad together. But we're not interested in paying $60 to have each other's names above our heads. We'd love to do it, but it's just not a viable price in this economy >.< We're still paying of the IRL wedding rings! XD

I know exp candies come in the pack, and wedding clothes - they work as regular Fashion, right? But unless that Squad Exp bonus is for real, I'm just not interested in raising that much gold

Now, if the driving pets were explained, along with the skills.... But they aren't even in this version?

I do say that the packs need to at least be severly discounted - by 50% at least if all we get is a little Exp and a name over our heads. $30 can get you a mount or something else that helps you in-game better, which is the only reason I'd be spending money. I don't want non-statted fashion, as nice as it might look.

I'm not certain about the EXP bonus, but from what I've seen and suspect that it was that, it is definitely not worth 60$ in my opinion. And yes, the marriage clothes are normal fashion (and also sell for 200-400k) and the mount and skills have not been implemented in this version.

Also, the Marriage Packs were for sale on Valentine's Day for $20 each.

LOL! You make marriage sound like something taken from Real Life.
    Stop it right now! X-D

No but seriously. I am old fashioned and I like to think ppl get married in game because they like eachother.

You want xp and coins? Hey why dont you go kill some mobs?
Oh thats right, that would be actually playing the game *sss*

Marriage is only a bonus feature for those that can afford it or those sooo
in love they just have to show the world.

You cant seriously tell me you didnt know you would not get tons and tons of xp and what not from getting married?

The clothes can work as regular fashion yes!

You also get "gifts" that when you open can be a few things: 1 wedding wine (which can be traded), 1 rep candy, or 1 coins ($99,999.00) which can be redeemed at the NPC.

The wines can be traded for the following:

    1 wine = Coins ($99,999.00)
2 wines = Wedding candy that gives you 20 rep. (this could be 2-3 wines can't remember exactly)
    6 wines = Extra Daily quest b:victory

How many wines usually come in the packs? I wouldn't mind trading them for the rep. The coins sound pretty good too, and I'm sure we'd sell the groom outfit. I really doubt my husband would run around the game wearing it. At all. I might keep the wedding dress if it's nice but I haven't tried one on yet.

But getting mounts in the pack would be even better. xD

You get 10 of the "gift cards"

When you right click them they are random. So the amount of wines you get to trade for the items is up in the air.

I know that when I got married my husband gave me all of his b:cute. And I ended up getting 200 rep from it! Although, it was nothing compared to being married to him b:pleased

The same-sex marriage probably won't happen. It would have to be programmed by the China devs, I believe, and I doubt that's high on the list of things to do that the devs here funnel over...

200 rep eh? Shoot, that'd get me on track to get my Rank 1 *and* Rank 2 "on time" XD Or at least close to it for the Rank 2.

People each have their own conceptions of "perfect"...y'might wanna fix that to "this isn't everyone's Perfect World". And besides...it's just the title of the game, it doesn't have to follow such strict standards set on by its title.
