like it? i would LOVE it0 -
i'm pretty sure these event rewards will be in cash shop sooner or later so don't fret so much about it, unless it says its exclusive for the event...b:surrender0

PWI is based in California, USA. The US is the primary target to be the playerbase for this edition of Perfect World. Yes, people from Canada, Central America, South America, and even overseas play the game. But the logistics for getting prepaid cards outside of the US, branded specifically to PWI, is probably a miniature nightmare.
So they did what they could for part of the player base. They made, and will make, options for out-of-US players to win things. They stated this at the beginning of the prepaid card contest - that they knew it only catered to some, not all, of the players, and that they'd do more events that everyone could compete in. And guess what, they offered some FREE ones for everyone. (Because even if you live in the US, that doesn't mean you have $$$ to shell out for the prepaid cards)
There is a version of Perfect World for Europe. There are versions of Perfect World for Indochina and Asia. People in those geographies can chose to play those versions, which would be more suited for local contests.
I just feel sorry for Australia[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

I'm not fretting that much . Just pointing the fact that doing an event for only a part of player isn't "fair" , if I dare to use that word . ):PWI is based in California, USA. Well , I'll just wait for some more news then0 -
Don't worry too much, even people in the US were left out. If the local Targets didn't get the cards in, you couldn't participate....
It was a national arrangement, but didn't reach me b:victory. w/e lol0 -
You know what, Im not complaining by any means, but I live in america and there's not a 7 elven within a 500 mile radius of me. I was able to get some at target for the last contest, but I didnt win, didnt really expect too either, but If you have friends in america you can always get them to get the cards for you and pay them via paypal. I helped alot of players this way last time.0

Im not worried since there are currently 3 more events going on that doesnt cost anything but some imagination and creativity and its open for everyone to join! Plus its much more fun winning in those contests than in some lottery based one. I wouldnt be able to buy a prepaid card anyways so
Im aiming for the june calendar contest next0 -
pw INTERNATIONAL... INTERNATIONAL = US? XD
once again
you're(as in general people posting) interpreting "international" wrong
international does not mean to every nation ont he planet
international just means from nation to nation
the international version meaning
they brought it over from china to the NA or specifically the us
china to NA=International
if this game was to be focused like you think international means
then it would be perfect world global0 -

Knowing how much time promotions can take to put into place, I have a quick question: Is it in any way against ToS to provide a 3rd party service to buy the cards for people out of the country? Obviously they would have to spend a shy bit more to various transaction fees but, is there anything that says I can't offer to make runs to 7/11s for people willing to fork out an extra 10% (aprox) but then the codes on the cards can be given to them via e-email, SMS, ect. My only concern would be exchange rates and getting more orders than cards available in my area, though I have family/friends all over the country who would be happy to help.
(hmmmm I should also check where the closest 7/11s are, don't have any plans to profit from this but definitely have to take fuel costs into consideration.)
EDIT: Just checked and there are more than 50 locations for 7 Elevens within a 45 mile radius. Now I shall wait for the okay regarding the ToS, while waiting ill call a few and make sure they are getting/have the game cards.0 -

All I can say is about DAMN time you guys started thinking of the players outside of the US ... they play the game and majority if not all buy cubi just like everyone else so I cant see why they should miss out on "promotions" as well.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -
Mystress I offered to buy cards from target for players outside of the united states for the last promotion, and did so whilst only adding the paypal fee to the transaction, I did this for many of my in game friends.0

That was really nice of you sweety ... just kinda feel sorry for those that dont have a credit card and only choice is via something like paybycash etc after fees are added it tends to be alot more
There is one I know of moneybookers which doesnt add fees if you add money into your account via bank transfer for credit cards it costs a small fee. It also allows a person to email money to someone. I myself often use it when donating to another game I play and I dont have to pay any fees. So in the end all Im doing is converting my money into the currency and sending it on ^^[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -
