About that kitty sign

I know you ppl have seen small kitty sign in beside you names, or when klicking someone elses name. It appears when i have pet out and it stays and i have seen that with ppl who have all class pets too.
Now the question, anyone know reason for it or any good explenation?

    Click on it and it auto targets your pet (or that other persons pet) Helps you NOT click 29387539 times between veno and pet if someone needs to target the pet instead.

    i want to use MY bramble on my magmite so he keeps the damn mobs off of me...
