Which is better? for a cleric a sword a bow or a wand???

    well its not a bow thats for archers lol but magic sword or wand depends on preference

    wands have higher min attack so its best for healing while swords have a lower min attack but higher max

    The weapons clerics use are:

    Wands
    Magic Swords (not to be confused with normal melee swords)
    Patakas
    Glaives


    My personal preference tends to be on magic swords and glaives.

    Magic swords are more consistant with higher damage than wands.

    Glaives are higher max damage but lower min damage, but way more consistant than patakas


    When I first started I was confused with weapons and was running around with some sort of twin swords XD Live and Learn

    I always go for the swords, I like balance and swords are the most balanced weapons + they look the best b:cool

    I always thought the other PW server favored the pataka?

    The Pataka is popular, because it looks cool and has the highest maximum attack. But its minimum attack is a lot lower than most of the other magic weapons, so it's a matter of personal preference.

    I lean towards Swords myself, or a Wand if I get ahold of one with better stats. I basically compare my current weapon to the best ones that I can equip from the shop, or from Mob drops. I like to keep my max attack high, but my min attack high as well. So it's usually a sword or wand. I stay away from the glaives/patakas for the most part - I had one I used for a while that was excellent because I crafted it myself and the stats rocked. Sold it after I outgrew it though.

    But if the pataka has a high max attack, why bother with it and go with the glaive, which has an even higher attack (even though a much lower minimum)?

    I was told a long time ago to stay away from swords on the Malaysian PW.

    While playing cleric, I prefer wands, not because of the way that they look, but because of the consistant damage output. There is very little fluctuation and my feeling is my cleric needs to be consistant being support, I like to know what I am going to get out of my skills.

    It I were going for looks I would for sure go with sword.b:victory

    The truth is there is no wrong/right answer. Its all a matter of preference.

    I like the swords! Cuz they look cool and they are balanced and for future weapons you will need the swords to get the lvl 100 sword so my goal was to obtain that sword at lvl 100 and im lvl 76 ATM but have everything i need for up to my lvl. You will need every m-sword and decompose it to make the lvl 100 m-sword and that lvl 100 m-sword is the one right below the warsoul m-sword just my 2 cents

    Sins are Scissors. Psychics are Rocks.
    Archers, Venos, Barbs, Wizards, BMs, Mystics, Seekers are Paper.
    ...and Clerics are Mushrooms.
    Paper beats Rock. Scissors beats Paper. Scissors also happens to beat Rock...until Rock gets 50k+ soulforce at which point Rock becomes an unstoppable killing machine that beats Paper... and would beat Scissors but it can't find Scissors, because Scissors are invisible.
    So Scissors beat Paper and avoids Rock, and that is called BALANCE. -cheze
