PrePaid Card Events Bias?

Hi i want to rant so im gonna :P



isnt there a way to acautlly make these amount awards fairer for the people not in the us?

I mean obiously core group of your players are from the U S OF A. But what about us little guys from europe :(

we love here too dont kick us away b:cry

    Yes well I have to agree.
    Just saw the announcement about the next PrePaid Card Event.
    First thing I saw was "PANDA MOUNT - OMG!" and then "7 Eleven!
    Yes. NO Target! We have 7 Eleven all over Europe!". And then I
    read further down that this is only for americans.

    Heh :)

    BUT but but, I really think that is why they have come up with the
    funny caption contest. Who knows, next time the price might just be
    the panda mount in that event as well. And everyone can join in on that,
    whats even better - you dont have to spend a penny on it, just your
    imagination :)

    Well... considering the server location it'd make sense that this is where they'd be focusing their cards on since a large majority of the user base seems to be in N. America. Fair to the Europeans/Canadians/and etc? No but PWE is still practically a toddler company, I'm surprised their cards are distributed as widely as they are now let alone how shocked I'd be if they managed to get foreign markets to cooperate.

    I think what people from other parts of the world than the U.S means though
    is that it would be great if the competition actually was fair (^_^)

    I dont really care much. Millions play and the chances of winning are very slim
    since its a lottery. And as I said earlier, we have the funny caption event and
    the calendar contest thats available for EVERYONE, rich and poor, americans and europeans.
    Plus winning a competition like those are far more rewarding since you get
    honored for a special talent :)

    I'll agree that if their is a shop or in this case a gas station in Europe/UK and the US then it should the whole area where that place can be found and not just one area. Luckaly for me (I say as if I'm not broke) I live in the US and about 30 something feet from a 7-11 (1 of only 3 in the city) but I still think it should cover the whole base and not just us in the states.

    You mean, hire a legal staff for outside the US and adhere to the laws your country sets for simple contests?

    Never.

    Heck, I hear that in Canada you have to use simple math to win a contest. That's not fair to us who slept through the classes,

    Just in case "international" is brought up again, it means available in more than 1 country, not caters to your whim. Think Mcdonalds, they are international but don't serve haggis.

    Cry, ***** and moan, but sometimes legal reasons keep contests from being "open to all".

    Meh... I'm in the U.S., and I didn't even bother w/ the cards. And I spent a ton (for me anyway) on the game over the past few weeks. I'm not really interested in the odd, small chance to 'win' something rare when it's just plain cheaper to buy online with paypal.

    You run into this with a lot of online games though (well, ok... 2 that I know of). They have to do what's most profitable with the least effort.

    I could care less about the meaningless prizes.

    I won't be spending any money, as the PayPal users got a 15% Zen bonus, prepaid card users get ****.

    I'm *severely* butthurt over this BS and I'm not gonna spend jack.

    Yes, buy 1 billion pre-paid cards.

    The more you guys, the higher then chance you have to win...

    It's simple, but Europeans don't get it right? It's a bonus prize.... you already won over 9999999999 Zen when you used $1 Billion dollars. The mount is just extra.
