I am sure that I am right, Morning Dew recovers all your health, not 360. My friend showed me a site that had to be wrong called Ecotomb. I checked it myself and it is not what it said on ecotomb. Also, it does not do 8% of magic damage or whatever it says. My friend is WRONG!!!!!!!! I am sur I am right.

WRONG!! Morning Dew heals HP equal to a base amount PLUS damage, but it's not dealing damage! The number that you get from your magic damage is how much you heal for. The only reason it heals you for full health is because of a Wizard's lowish HP. Try healing a Barb next time.

Morning Dew does not recover all of your HP. Neither does it recover 360. Ecatombs description is 370 hp and 8% of base magic damage at level 1.

I have never bothered to work out the exact amount however at my level I have around 800 hp of which level 1 Morning Dew recovers roughly half or some more. So lets say roughly 400-500 hp. That seems to be in keeping with the skill description from Ecatomb.

I may add however as a point of note that the sage version of Morning Dew gives a 10% chance to recover full hp.

If you've ever even played a wizard and cast it on something, you would know that it does not heal 100% HP.

Yeah, it only appears to heal more on yourself due to the low HP of a Wizard. Like said above, try it on a barb sometime. lol

Please noob, just stop now, it's very embarassing.

"Heals target 650 points plus 20% base magic damage"

Taken from my own skillset, which strangely enough, is more accurate than a slightly misleading use of semantics on the skilltree. Well spotted though.

That's not what it actually does though. Maybe at level 10, but not when you first get it. I have it, I use it, it heals for a set amount of points - says so right over the *actual* skill in my skillsets.

The people who chimed in on actual points earlier are right. If it healed to full health, I wouldn't have to throw it on a BM three times to replenish his health bar.

He seems to be basing his views entirely on the skill tree just to troll us or to prove how arrogant and stupid he can be.

EDIT: Also shouldn't this be on the wizard forums?

The description shown in the game (just by looking at skill tree and not having the skill) is a typo. It does not heal all your HP. This guy has never experienced the skill obviously since his level is too low to learn it therefore he had no clue. The same idea goes for the barbarian's skill "Shapeshifting Intensity" because it says "Increases all damage while in tiger form". We know that isn't true because it increases your physical defense instead. They are typos that need fixing.

His friend posted their half of the argument over on the Wizards forum. But since his friend won the argument, that thread has long since sunk.

morning dew does have a CHANCE to heal the full hp bar and that is if you have the sage version of that skill, however, there's only a 10% chance

Well, it shouldn't say it heals to full health if it doesn't...that is serious bull ****. It is really not my fault that it says that but since I don't have the skill I can't really say I am right anymore. Though it is **** that it says that. I will contact someone about it and tell them to fix it or something.

It actually DOES say that on the main skill tree. I remember seeing it before I hit the level to get Morning Dew. I was all HUZZAH that'll be worth the evil cast time I keep hearing about!

Then I got it and in my skill bar it had a different statement, something like 360 HP plus blah blah. I was disappointed but I took it in stride with a sigh. We are one of the stranger classes in the game, after all, and I've seen other typos.

I was figuring, though, that the Skill Tree was talking about the Max Level effect, possibly? I understand, though, that it doesn't do full health at Lv10. But that Sage Morning Dew has a *chance* to heal fully.

That's the only thing I know about...is that Sage only has a CHANCE to heal the target to full health. However, from the beginning, my Skill Tree hasn't said that at all, just "heals target's HP based on Magic Attack", or something to that effect...

That is so weird. I'll have to see what it says now the next time I log in. The version of the skill tree I was looking at is the quickbar one, not the Wizard Trainer one. I wonder if it differs between the two, or changes after you get the first level?

=_= I know I have a lot of noob in me, but I will study the facts before I start calling people noobs, liars, and idiots. I think the problem of misunderstanding is a little more deeply rooted than just one phrase in the game. >_> Also, I doubt you could make me regret insulting you. I mean...Epeen away, if you want. Not going to change the fact you know even less about your wizard's skills than your friend does. =\

Don't trust what the skill trees say since the descriptions there tend to be a bit off.

Also, listen to people who have more experience than you do when they're telling you you're wrong about a skill you don't have when they do have it.
